Answer:	The PC recognizes the USB connection as a MIDI interface, which can be used to switch between patches.
Question:	Can you delete only the previous loop that you recorded instead of the whole loop
Answer:	No you can not delete part of a loop. In some other loopers you can undo one or more previous loops, but with the G1on you can not. When you delete a loop that was made on top of a a rhythm loop all the loops get deleted. It kind of sucks! This is about the only fault I can find w/ the G1on.
Question:	I just bought a digitech-360 and found out i can't use the looper with the drum machine.. can you use the drums with the looper on this unit
Answer:	Yes you can select a drum pattern and start playing it, then switch to looper mode and record while playing to the drum sounds. The drum sounds don't get recorded though, but you can play to the beat unlike the digitech 360.
Question:	whats the difference between this and spending hundreds on different pedals
Answer:	Lol! A lot, and not that much. This makes for an excellent practice pedal/tone lab. It's perfect for trying out different sounds and pedal combos and learning about basic signal path for FX. Some people even gig with this unit, though the G3X and G5X are considered more "Pro. Grade" though they have basically the same FX engine. Picking, buying, and building your own custom boutique pedal board is also rewarding and can provide some more unique and better quality FX... But you can literally spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Plus you'll need to try out the different pedals and build out a board. But individual pedals does give you flexibility DURING a performance. Note that the G1Xon has only two stomps and a wah. (Look at the manual, it's more complicated than that.) But basically (tl:dr) if you already know what sounds you want and you're a professional, spend hundreds on different pedals. If you want to experiment with different tone/FX and are primarily rehearsing and doing house of worship & coffee houses, buy the G1Xon.

Answer:	That is where a microphone gets connected to the unit with a (male) 3 pin XLR cable. The ground / hot / cold mentioned are the 3 pins on the connector. It only connects one way, so don't worry about that. The XLR cable is used for low impedance microphones, as opposed to high impedance mics which use a 1/4" phone jack. The other 3 jacks in the back are all output lines depending on where you are routing them, either to a PA system, computer, recorder, etc. I hope this helps......

Question:	Does the upper octave by itself track as well as the bigger version
Answer:	It tracks surprisingly well on a 5-string. I don’t ever tune down... that’s why I use a 5-string! All Octave pedals will have some trouble with a low B string, in that it often sounds like mud in those frequencies, if you don’t take steps to make certain that the notes are clear. If it was me, I would make certain that you use a good quality 5-string (a multiscale might help a little...) with newer, brighter strings, good pickups and don’t complicate the sound too much before it gets to the pedal. No time-based effects going in, like delays and reverbs-that’ll confuse the hell out of most octave pedals. If you use double-stops and chords, be sure to try them when the pedal is on. Some octavers can’t effectively track those at all. Find the optimal position for your plucking hand (it will probably be in the “Jaco Position” near the bridge) so that it’s got more attack and then try and use an amp that can accurately reproduce those ultra-low frequencies. I currently use an 80’s Pearl OC-07 octaver, because I think it’s the best sounding octave pedal ever made and I’m a “frequent-fretless” guy. However, I do tend to swap them out periodically. I really like the tc electronic pedals in general and Sub n’ Up is absolutely worth trying and owning.

Answer:	It can take a USB 2.0 mini 5-pin (the other end is a typical USB end) or a round 9V DC plug (the other end has a transformer that plugs into the usual wall socket). In my case I use a Blucoil 9V 670mA, which is used to power low-current standard pedals and is noise and hum free. I got it on Amazon.

Answer:	Long answer: In "band" mode, you must first play/program the sequence that you want to have accompanied by the band. The Trio+ does not provide accompaniment in real time. To answer the second part of your question, there are volume knobs to individually mute/adjust volume for the bass, drum, and loop once you have your sequence programmed.

Answer:	I don't own the larger version of the Sub 'N' Up, but the upper octave does track quite well. When you start tinkering with how you mix each octave, you'll find that they all blend together very well. I love my Sub 'N' Up Mini, works great. Hope this helps!

Answer:	I don’t think it should make any difference. The thing to keep in mind that the drop doesn’t tune up—it only tunes down. So in an example of a 6 string, if you want to go from E to D to B and back and forth, you have to have as a starting point your guitar tuned to E.

Answer:	I always put pitch shifting second in my chain (right after compression) Reason is, it tracks better and will have better clarity before distortion.

Answer:	I plan on purchasing this item and will be happy to respond w/ an actual answer. I don't understand why it's easier for some people to complain rather than assist. Suggesting to read the owner's manual is a total PaulVega thing to do. Almost as bad as when people respond w/ an "I don't know" answer. I guess I'm doing the same thing here, but I plan on updating!

Answer:	I think it should work IF you have a high impedance mic with a 1/4” phone plug at cable end. The input impedance spec is 1Meg ohm as are many guitar amp inputs.

Results range from radical pitch and delay modulation to shimmering repeats to time stretching, stutter, and glitch sounds. Particle 2 is a complete redesign, incorporating many improvements for live use and better sound quality. The enclosure is smaller, 3 wide with all jacks on top. 127 presets can be stored. The active preset and bypass state are remembered, eliminating pre-show adjustments. Delay time has been extended from 900 ms to 2500 ms, at a higher sampling rate. Tap tempo allows delay time, LFO rate, grain size, and density adjustment with independent note divisions. The expression pedal is assignable to any combination of knobs, and our DIY-friendly Remote 4 switch allows foot control while the Particle sits at table height for knob tweaking. Answer:	Yes. Flip the center switch all the way down, turn your octave selector to 3 o'clock, turn the wet knob all the way clockwise and the dry knob all the way counter clockwise and there you have it.
