The Depths is optimized for use with all kinds of instruments, pickups, and to play well with dirt, so nobody’s left waiting on shore. If it’s got a ¼” output, plug it in and get deep!

Intensity

This controls how subtle or intense the overall effect is. Counter clockwise from noon are the more subtle, classic sounds. Clockwise from noon are the more drastic and intense sounds.

Rate

Controls the speed of the effect. Counterclockwise for slow, clockwise for fast.

Voice

Dials in the overall sound. Turn it clockwise for a fuller sound with more lows, bring it back for a thinner, more midrange focused tone.

Throb

This controls the low end pulse. It may not be immediately evident on the bridge pickup, but switch to the neck or add some dirt and it comes alive. All the way up for more throb, dial it back for less. Works best when the 'Voice' is set to a warmer tone.

This creepy analog/digital spring reverb emulation machine boasts a terrifying 30ms – 150ms of pre-delay, controllable via the Attack knob, for everything from a quick rockabilly slapback to viscous pools of ectoplasmic reverberations. When playing staccato, you’ll hear the tortured trails of the reverb, resulting in more of a slapback or echo sound. Attack

Adjusts the length of the pre-delay, from 30ms at minimum to about 150ms at maximum. When the Dwell is set to self-oscillate, this will change the pitch of the oscillations.

Dwell

Adjusts the length of the decay. This will start to self-oscillate around 3 O’Clock, the pitch of the oscillations can be changed by turning the Attack control.

Depth

Mixes in the wet signal with the dry, unity is around noon and everything after is boosted.

Question:	can you get rid of the radio noise interference somehow
Answer:	I dont have radio noise with this device. However it depends on your setup. I have this pedal on my board and it is after my tuner, compressor and overdrive pedals. I also have 6 other pedals after this one. I am powering everything with a MXR M238 power brick. And I am plugging the power brick into a furman PT-6 power conditioner. I have little to no noise interference. My setup is pretty quiet. You might need to do some trial and error. I would start with the power conditioner to see if it removes the noise coming from the wall outlet. After that I would look at a noise gate pedal. This will cut the noise when you are not playing. THe donner Noise killer is a great cheap pedal or a ISP technologies Decimator is a industry standard but more expensive. There are other options also. And is that still does not do the trick look into an isolated power supply. This you might need to spend a few bucks on because most of the ones that are cheap are not a true isolated power supply.

Answer:	Like most pedals, you have to purchase your own.
Question:	Does it work on chords? Or just single notes
Answer:	It will work either way, but if you play the notes or chords too closely together (or too quickly) it will not swell correctly. Think of it as a noise gate that opens slowly when you strike a note or chord. Once it’s open it will try to stay open until it has a chance to close again... if that makes any sense. It’s a decent pedal, but you would have more control over your swells by using a volume pedal.
