It is noted that 40 minutes post-workout, a participant's body goes back to homeostasis - a resting state. *** Twenty-three healthy study participants (20 females, 3 males) attended 60-minute STRONG by Zumba classes 3 times per week for a period of 12-weeks and ate a sensible diet. On average, the participants lost 1.39 inches in the waist, 1.88 inches in the abs, 1.67 inches in the hip, 1.68 inches in the mid-thigh, and 0.23 inches in the calves.

Answer: 3 CD's contain 2 work outs plus 8 minutes of abs and a 2 min cool down. 2 CD's contain extra work out dances. Each has 1 dance routine on it (one is about 33 min one is about 30 min) and a 8 min abs. 1 CD has moves they recommend for clubbing if you need 101 dance lessons.. It comes with a calendar where it lists their recommended "Beginner or advanced workout routine. It is 4 weeks long. If you add the extra workouts you can get 5 weeks out of it

Answer: Compared to the regular Zumba tapes, yes, these are slow placed---but these are set up for SENIORS!! I'm 68 and find these dvd's very invigorating!! the first dvd is instructional, teaching you the 5 different dance steps, and then trying them out. the 2nd dvd puts you thru the cardio (45 minutes with 7 minutes of warm-up and 8-minute cooldown. 3rd dvd is toning, so more invigorating. and Beto, the creator, is the instructor, with Joy Prouty as the senior instructor. I've shown it to my fellow residents here at my independent living complex and they find it quite invigorating!!!

Answer: All these exercises are seated on this DVD. I would recommend you try Strength, Core, Coordination Or Best of Season 1 by Curtis Adams If you would like to stand.
Question: Would the exercises be suitable for an above the knee amputee
Answer: There are exercises involving the legs, like marching, raising up the knees, slow then faster jump rope, lifting arms and legs at the same time, etc. Also, a couple of the exercises involve lifting a few inches off the chair. There are definitely some exercises in this video that an amputee could do easily which mostly involve the upper body.
Question: Can you listen the instructions in Spanish also
Answer: This DVD is English only. Sorry Spanish is not available.
