Answer:	Wheels are 1 1/2 in wide the front span of the front wheels is 16 inches, and yes it is easy to handle. And will go through doors easily. Fits in the back of the van very easily not very heavy.
Question:	How easy is this to get into a small car
Answer:	The handlebars fold down to make it more compact -- a little tricky the first time you try it, but easy when you figure out how. I can easily transport it in my Honda FIT when folded, but can even squeeze it into certain spots when handlebars are up. And yeah, I'm no spring chicken, pushing 65.
Question:	I see others have pads that seem to be molded to a leg while this one is flat without raised sides. Is it easy to keep your leg on the pad
Answer:	I have several months of experience on both types of pads, and I will tell you the flat ones are better, but a fuzzy 2" foam pad on top of a flat one is optimal. The knee-divot model tends to have a topographical logo in the middle of the divot, which ends up making an impression on your leg. It's not fun, or comfortable. I had to deal with that for the better part of 6 months. I've had this knee rover model for about 3 years now, I put a 2" fuzzy foam pad on it 2 months ago, and that's the most comfortable a scooter has been.

Question:	Can someone just rent one of these for a couple of months without having to buy it
Answer:	I'm not exactly sure what your asking, but I used it for after ankle surgery (not weight bearing) and the only issues I had were: 1. Difficulty getting over various bumps 2. Getting it in and out of my car 3. Had to figure out which side to get off of it on... With that being said, I'm single so had to do it all myself. Oh, and it's really not comfy to sit on for long periods, doc ran 3hrs behind my last appt and my butt was killing me! I also bought this with the intention of using this for after knee surgery which will require non weight bearing. And I bought this well in advance of my surgery so that my service dog had time to get used to it also. I really like it though.
Question:	How does this handle cobblestone or brick walkways
Answer:	I don't know the answer to this. I'm 5'1" and found the lower settings too low for me. The foot rest also doesn't play well with the basket, unless you're going straight.
Question:	The seat came with a puncture hole in the box and the seat, what can be done to get a replacement seat
Answer:	I'm adding to my answer, in regard to the "mist" question. Instead of toilet paper, I use moistened perineal wipes which are about the size of 2 sheets of toilet paper. Amazon has a large selection; I've happily used both Babo & Good Wipes brands. These work better at cleaning the area than toilet paper.
Question:	I purchased one of these walkers at the end of November. The axle just broke and the wheel fell off. Is this covered under warranty
Answer:	PERFECT!!!!!! I've had 5 spine surgeries (3 fusions) so twisting to wipe is virtually impossible. This is THE BEST aid ever!!! Now they need to make a collapsible one to take on the road...

Answer:	Fairly. Pull up and out on the silver thing at the front of the handles, then pull to the side, and the handle bars fold down. Not 100% but good enough

Answer:	No. A walker is much more stable for post hip replacement. This scooter is for foot and lower leg injury recovery.

Answer:	If you are asking about a lock for the wheels, it does have a wheel lock. Apply the brakes with the handle bar levers and while holding the brake lever, push one of the knobs on top of the brake levers down and it will lock the brakes on the wheels. To release the brake, just depress the brake lever again.

Question:	How can you get the brake lock to work? I've tried to compress brake but cant seem to get the button depressed to lock the brakes
Answer:	It is very difficult to work the break lock for the first time. We had to depress the hand break as far as we could possibly get it and then push the break button. When it locks, it will click into place. It also works easier after the first couple of tries. We had to depress that hand break really hard (I was afraid it might break) before the lock would engage.
Question:	Will it free up my hands? The pics all show people with both hands on the handlebars. Can you steer it one handed
Answer:	I used it for 6 weeks after foot surgery. It is reasonably stable, but I would keep 2 hands on the steering wheel, because is you go around the corner sometimes it will stick a little if you are on carpet. That's why there is a basket so that you can take a phone, bottled water etc. with you. I would not ride the thing with a cup of coffee in my hand. I had people for that, but if you don't put it in a travel cup and in the basket.
Question:	how does this work in small spaces... ie getting in and out of small bathroom.... I live in carpeted apartment - good on carpet
Answer:	The turning radius is really good, but depending on the space in the bathroom, it may be difficult to manuever. The handle bars are narrow enough for tight spaces. If the sink sticks out a bit the handle bars may bump it. I used the scooter on hardwood floors, cement, and asphalt. It scoots very smoothly. As for carpet, I don't think it will be a problem unless its extremely thick carpet.
Question:	does the seat adjust can you sit on the seat
Answer:	The seat is adjustable, however it is not designed to be sat on. I tried that and it didn't really work too well. The problem is, there is no place to rest your feet. And I am assuming that if you re buying a knee wheeler it's because you can't walk on one foot (or leg). A little kid might be able to use it like a little rolling seat, but it is far too low to the ground for an adult.

Question:	Is this good for walking long distances, like a mile
Answer:	I found that I could use the iWalk with crutches to walk long distances comfortably. Great for around the house and short trips with no crutches.
Question:	I have a removable boot as my cast due to a ruptured achilles tendon. Do you know if it is comfortable with the boot on
Answer:	From the manufacturer - the answer is definitively yes. As many have mentioned, if the boot is partial height, and does not run the full length of the crutch knee platform, then you will want to build up the are in front of the top of the boot with additional foam, or a folded hand towel or similar. This isn't always necessary - it depends on the thickness of the boot, but it generally results in greater comfort. Build up the area higher than you think you should, then try it, and reduce the thickness until you find the most comfortable, functional height. Remember to keep the straps tight - this is essential to have the best control and efficiency from the crutch.The only situation that can cause problems is with some air boots, which have inflation bladders positioned on the front of the boot. These can overinflate during use (but this isn't always the case). If yours does this, then the bladder can either be disabled or you can use a different boot. Hint - make sure the knee strap is tight - if the knee cannot lift during gait, the bladder won't pump air.Additional foam with peel and stick adhesive can be purchased from our website, but a folded hand towel works just as well, and it's free. Just remember to start too thick, then reduce the thickness until it's optimized.
Question:	Does this have to be removed when you go to the bathroom? It seems like it would
Answer:	From the manufacturer - typically the answer is yes, you do need to remove it- HOWEVER, 1. After a day or two, most people take 10-15 seconds to put on / take off the iWALK (your first day you won't believe this is possible, but you'll see - it really is IF you're using the straps correctly). 2. After you're proficient and confident on the iWALK2.0, for short trips, don't strap in - just use the handle to keep the crutch in contact with your leg and to stabilize it. It's really easy and quite convenient.
Question:	Has anyone walked a mile or two with one of these
Answer:	Yes, absolutely. That said, be aware that an iWALK2.0 can never be as efficient as a human leg, so the effort to do distance in an iWALK is greater than normal human walking. The most recent long distance walk that comes to mind is a man who was an amputee and had committed to do a charity walk of two miles, but was derailed due to his amputation. He used his iWALK2.0 to keep mobile while he was waiting for his leg to heal and be capable of using his prosthetic. As part of his training, he walked long distances in this iWALK20. He was fitted with his prosthetic and was able to complete the charity event, even though it was on the first day of having his new prosthetic. His doctor, in 25 years of fitting prosthetics, had never seen anything like this, and attributed the feat to the work he had done with the iWALK2.0. There are numerous accounts of people doing longer distances such as 10k's, long hikes, etc. Again, to be fair, it will require more effort than normal, but it is certainly doable, as many have proven.

iWALK2.0 requires average strength and balance. If you can pass these two simple tests, then you have the physical capability to use the iWALK2.0:

1. STAIR TEST – BEFORE YOUR INJURY, could you walk up and down a flight of stairs at normal walking pace, and without using the handrail?
2. BALANCE TEST – Can you balance on your good (uninjured) leg for at least 30 seconds?

If you cannot pass both tests, the iWALK2.0 will not work for you. If you can, please proceed to step 1B.

WILL IWALK2.0 FIT YOU?

1. HEIGHT – if you are between 5’1” (155cm) and 6’2” (185.5cm), then there’s a 99% chance that iWALK will fit you. If you are shorter or taller, you must consult the leg length chart at left.
2. WEIGHT – Maximum weight is 275 pounds (125 kg)
3. THIGH SIZE – Maximum thigh circumference, measured at the top of the leg, is 28 inches (71cm)

Proceed to step 2.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS – Let’s confirm that you can use iWALK. If you answer NO to any of these, it will not work for you, otherwise, go to step 2.

1. You will follow our video instructions and allow yourself up to 60 minutes to adapt
2. Before your injury, you could walk normally – you were active and healthy
3. Your injury is to one leg only, and below the knee
4. You can bend your injured leg 90 degrees at the knee
5. You are not significantly overweight
6. If elderly, you were active and had full mobility. You meet all other requirements..

Consult with your physician before you purchase if ANY of the conditions listed below apply to you, or if you have any doubts about your ability to safely use the iWALK2.0.You are not in excellent general health (other than your lower leg injury) * Balance issues / vertigo * Poor circulation * Use of pain medications * Hip or knee replacements * Restricted flexibility or movement * Tibial tubersoty or Osgood Schlatter * Arthritis or other pain in legs, feet, hips or back * Chronic lower back pain.

If none of these apply, proceed to step 2A.

Important information for special circumstances

• AGE LIMITS – Physical capabilities vary from person to person, especially as we age. We have learned that ABILITY LIMITS work better than age limits. If you have reasonable expectations and are honest in your self-assessment of your physical condition and capabilities, then the requirements for using iWALK2.0 are the same no matter what your age.
• PLUS SIZE – Being significantly overweight will make it more difficult to adapt to the iWALK2.0, and in many cases, people with high body mass indexes cannot adapt to the iWALK2.0

Important information for special circumstances

• DIABETICS – Diabetic foot ulcers are often accompanied by neuropathy and / or obesity. If either of these conditions are present, the ability to use the iWALK is unlikely.
• BELOW KNEE AMPUTEES – When you can't use your permanent prosthetic iWALK2.0 is an effective daily living aid for below knee amputees, Please note that you must have at least four inches of residual limb behind the back of the knee.
