The datasheet from Universal Battery gives capacity ratings for up to 13 amps. It can probably deliver more than this, but would need to be combined with a large capacitor to deliver the amount of current required to start a car.The figure given in the specs is 22 Amp-hours, which is an indication of how much energy it can store, not how much current (CCA) it can produce. For example, a 10 amp motor would drain the battery (completely flat, which is bad for it) in 2.2 hours. |

| Answer: | It is not a BB Battery. It is a UB battery. Most of these battery types are manufactured in Taiwan or China and I suspect they are all made from just a few manufacturers. Regardless of the origin, this is the second time I have ordered this style of battery from this site (got almost 5 years on the last one). They have proved to be a quality battery, better than the manufacturer's original and almost half the cost. They are not in my opinion a cheap knockoff, but a quality product. |
