Question:	Can this be used to pull myself up out of the tub when taking a bath? I have trouble getting up out of the tub, so have started taking showers only
Answer:	Depending on the tub type. My tub has the claw feet and I had to use a wood block and rubber grip material (the kind used for rugs to prevent sliding) to enable my tub grip to stay in place . If you have the flat edged tub it should not slide but I would do so cautiously. I would not recommend pulling up on rail unless you know for sure it will not slide. My bathtub rail as described above become dislodged as I pulled up out of tub (fortunately I was able to right myself and I did not fall) so I limit myself in taking baths.

Answer:	My tub side is 4". Looks to me the device would expand another inch or so,
Question:	Would this work on a claw foot tub that has a rolled top rather than square
Answer:	I doubt it. The unit has a squarish U-shaped bracket, which slides over the top of the tub wall. The rolled top of the claw-foot tub would allow the bracket to fit securely to the inside of the tub, but would provide no flat surface for the outside of the clamp to secure to. As far as I can tell, since I don't currently have a claw-foot tub.

You may also need to adjust the height on each of the legs based on the height of the toilet. Question:	Will these suction to finished wood
Answer:	I do not have marble so the surface is not the same. I live in an apartment and think the shower is some sort of polyproplene. My son put mine on the shower for me. We first cleaned the surface with rubbing alcohol and wiped down with paper towel. Did you prepare the surface? I have used them since November 2019 and he has had to replace both of the one time for me (at different times) . Each time, I had pushed downward as I was standing in the tub and leaned on it to wash the bottoms of my feet. Normal use of using it as an assist to get in and out does not seem to disturb the seal.

Answer:	No, it can't be left on permanently. It must be removed and reattached every two weeks (according to the directions that came in the box). But I found it doesn't stay attached that long. It also says it should NOT be used as a grab bar (as stated) but only as a balance bar.

Answer:	A person 5"10" uses this walker with the height at the top of the handles at 37". I measured the lowest setting for this model and one would have to grasp the handles with the palm of one's hand at 31". The best advice I can give you is to measure from the floor to the person's palms. If the distance is 31" or more is should work. If you order it and it doesn't work Amazon will take it back. We had a problem with the wheels and they exchanged it with no hassle. Hope this is helpful.

Answer:	It's never been an issue in normal use. You can put your full weight (say, 175 lbs) directly on one side without any tilting. Obviously, if you push heavily to one side, tilting could result. It really is a quite stable and highly maneuverable light weight walker.

Answer:	The seat height adjusts from 16 to 21 inches. The width and depth of the legs are both 16.75 inches, the width of the seat is 20.75 inches, the depth of the seat is 18 inches, the height of the seat is adjustable from 16 to 21 inches (add another 12.5 inches for the height of the backrest.) You should not have a problem with this seat as long as the inside bottom of your bathtub is at least 17 inches wide (so that the legs of the seat will fit in it.) Although the seat is wider than the legs, the seat will sit above the height of most bathtubs, unless you have a really deep bathtub (21 inches or more.)

Answer:	Yes, it is removable. The optional back clicks right into the cut-out at the back of the bench. The chair back has two grooved slots that fit over two corresponding plastic slats at the back of the bench. Align the grooves and slats, and press gently to securely attach the back. The very end of the chair back has two sturdy, rectangular plastic tabs that fit into the central opening at the back of the bench. The tabs have built-in, horizontal 2-inch plastic lips that lock the chair back into place.If you attach the back, and then change your mind, you can easily remove it. Turn the chair over. To release the horizontal plastic lips that secure the back, press the ends of both plastic, rectangular tabs toward each other until they touch. I used both hands to do this, but someone with larger hands may be able to use only one. Simply pull the chair back away from the bench.

Answer:	You can find them at Walmart for $6.88 - look under "Carex Walker & Bath Bench Tips" - they are white. I just bought this bench and really like it. However, I was also looking for replacement tips just in case that the black rubber tips might be leaking dye onto my off-white fiberglass shower floor.

Answer:	no, NO RUST at all, this is the ONLY tub chair i could find that did NOT have metal legs or metal parts. It seems to be entirely plastic, yet very sturdy, kind of heavy to be honest. I also use this to stand on to put in lightbulbs, etc. VERY GOOD chair. Just TRY to find a tub chair that does NOT have metal legs. This is the only one.

Answer:	Depends what you're growing. Not nearly enough to flower high light plants.

Answer:	There are tabs on the bottom (where the lights were). You can twist those so they are running parallel to the light bulbs, then you should be able to remove the aluminum reflector (I had to squeeze the middle 2 tabs together on each side). I used a pair of pliers to twist them since they were kind of sharp. It's easiest to use a nut driver and phillips head screw driver to remove the screws holding the ballast in place (make sure you have the right size phillips head, the screws were very easy to strip). The way I changed the ballast out was to cut the blue and red wires from the old ballast (black and white were already separate), strip 1/2" of the insulation, then tie it to the same colored wires on the new ballast and used wire caps to hold them together. This was just to avoid having to pull out the sockets.

Question:	What is the outside measurement at the feet
Answer:	Not sure which measurement that you are looking for. The outside spread of the feet at the floor (the one outside of the tub) is 18 1/2 inches.
Question:	Can this be used with a claw foot tub measuring 22 inches from floor to top of tub wall
Answer:	We used it on a standard tub. The adjustable legs should make it work well with your tub. It was a godsend to be able to get from the wheelchair to the tub without heavy lifting. I would give it a try. Unfortunately, we no longer have it as it was no longer needed.
Question:	Can transfer leg extensions be added if not high enough? My tub is 22" H (Jacuzzi
Answer:	Yes, they are sold right on Amazon. The bench comes with leg extenders that go to a certain height. If they ( the included extenders) are long enough to reach from the rim of the tub to the floor of the tub then you will probably only need one pair of longer extenders to reach from the rim of the tub to the floor. I bought two pairs but the original extenders worked in the tub so I only really needed one pair.

Question:	Will this work in a garden tub
Answer:	I have a whirlpool tub but i don't think it's a garden tub. However, I found the width of the tub and width of the tub rim must be considered. Also the depth of the tub. You'd want your feet to reach the tub floor.
Question:	Would this work with sliding glass doors installed on the bathtub? We would keep open during use
Answer:	There is not usually enough room to sit down and swing legs over the tub edge if the sliding doors are still in place. I think it would not be safe to use it with sliding doors.
Question:	Can you use this with a claw foot tub
Answer:	Yes. As long as it does not have an overly curved profile so it mightn't sit level. The bench braces against each inside lip of the tub so that it is stable and stays in place. But it is easily removed or loosened to reposition. It is very sturdy. I feared that the edge of my tub where it meets the tiled wall wouldn't offer enough ledge for the bench to rest upon but the way the bracing slides/adjusts made it work like a dream.
Question:	How much of a ledge does this item need on each side? That seems to be the only negative review issues
Answer:	It is adjustable on both sides but you definately need a tub with an ledge on both sides I knowome of the newer one piece tub wall combos only have a ledge on outside and the bench does not work with those but a standard bath tub has a ledge on both sides and it works great!
