There are cross tubes under the seat so the highest clearance after all the legs are extended to their full length is 19 1/2 inch. Unfortunately my tub wall height is 22 1/4 inch. The transfer bench is too large & bulky to send back in light of the fact that I'll only need it for 2 - 4 weeks after my back surgery. I'm just going to put a 2x6 under the exterior legs (2x4s are too narrow for safety).

Question:	What are the differences between this model and the older model
Answer:	The Anchors that come with the racks "Sucks". Extremely piss poor Cheap design. I threw them away as soon as I opened the box. Because of the type of device that I was installing on the wall I knew that I needed something strong enough to support 10 to 15lbs of bearing weight so I choose an aggressive plastic self drilling, screw on anchor that I knew was more than adequate for job.

Answer:	Yes ... there are drainage holes on the seat: 4 large ones near seat edge and 2 small ones in middle of the seat, in addition to the wide handle holes on either side of seat. After use, a simple wipe down with a micro fleece towel keeps mine looking like new. This is a great product ... sturdy, quality and light weight, too.

Answer:	I have the legs inserted so that the seat is as high as possible. In that position, there are 15.5 inches of width from the outside of one leg tip to the outside of the other.

Answer:	The listed capacity is 250 lbs, but I weigh 280 lbs and the seat supports my weight easily. I selected this chair over others because of the bracing under the seat. I hope this helps.

Answer:	You can find them at Walmart for $6.88 - look under "Carex Walker & Bath Bench Tips" - they are white. I just bought this bench and really like it. However, I was also looking for replacement tips just in case that the black rubber tips might be leaking dye onto my off-white fiberglass shower floor.

Answer:	no, NO RUST at all, this is the ONLY tub chair i could find that did NOT have metal legs or metal parts. It seems to be entirely plastic, yet very sturdy, kind of heavy to be honest. I also use this to stand on to put in lightbulbs, etc. VERY GOOD chair. Just TRY to find a tub chair that does NOT have metal legs. This is the only one.
