Answer:	I didn’t measure them as I’m attempting to return it. The insert will not stay in, and therefore can’t even try it as the return issues are very limited and specific. However it does seem sturdy and legs are straight not outward so it is more compact.

Answer:	The items literature says that it will support 550 lbs. This is a quality product all of the cross pieces are bolted together with stainless steel bolts and welded to the legs. The only thing that is wrong with this unit is that the feet have a plain steel washer to prevent the feet from cutting the rubber feet and these washer rust over time. I solved this problem by replacing them with some stainless steel washers that I purchased at Lowes problem solved. I think that it was less than two dollars and now I do not have to worry about rust in my shower.

Answer:	I believe it was made in China, but I no longer have the box. I can say the grip bar doesn’t work on standard 4x4 tiles and the seat is uncomfortable.

Answer:	Put the 2 cross braces into the blue U-type connector of each side, screw but not tighten the bolts in the 4 ends. Make a slight adjustment until the hole in the middle is aligned. When all the 5 connection points in the 2 cross braces are aligned to the holes, tighten all the screw bolts.

Question:	Can an armrest be installed on this seat
Answer:	It does not appear that an armrest can be installed. This is a really sturdy, comfortable seat that can easily hold 500 pounds or more. It is very well made and does not slide around in the shower. My suggestion is to install a grab bar in the shower and place the seat next to the grab bar to aide in sitting and getting up.
Question:	Will it fit in a standard bathtub
Answer:	I do believe so since I live in a small trailer and tubs are smaller and mine fits well. So very sturdy! I shower with confidence.
Question:	What is the highest it will go? I need to stand up with one leg and can’t do that if it’s to low
Answer:	I have it set at dining room chair height (about 18 inches) and can raise it. Sorry, I’m not at home and can’t measure it to give you specifics.
Question:	What are the measurements from foot to foot with the rubber tips included so I can make sure in will fit in my bathtub/shower
Answer:	The seat is a bit bigger than the feet, but I measured and here are dimensions: Seat: 20" x 22". Feet (including rubber tips): 19.5" x 19.5". By the way, I use this chair for my husband who cannot walk due to a stroke. It is an excellent and sturdy stool. Better than the ones I've used in the past.

what is the weight limit

I had purchased this chair several years ago and it is still like new and has held up with weight of 360 lbs. I have just purchased another one for our new downstairs shower and am very pleased- just take right out of the box and attach back if you need it, we don't use the back. Local store said it would take 2 months on back order but I ordered from Amazon and received it in 3 days and saved approximately $50. Would highly recommend this product and of course Amazon.
