Works great and is stable, PROVIDED ... you don't go down hills. If you take in onto a down hill, it will roll so easily that it will pick up speed. The brakes do very little to slow it down, because they stop the back wheels from turning, but the wheels then simply slide along the road, barely slowing the pace. On hills, it can get away from you from the mechanics of pure Physics alone, so you have to pull it back a bit and go down a hill slowly.

Answer:	Mr. Williams I will answer your question with some comments. A. My Rollator is a Model 795B B. Its seat height is 21 Inches and not adjustable on this model. C. I understand that on some of the newer models the seat height can be changed with the use of spacers. D. Personally, I consider the seat height relatively inconsequential because I seldom use the Rollator as a "chair". For me it serves as set of "crutches with wheels".

When it is used as a transport chair, the backrest is removed and reinstalled in the reverse direction. A foot rest is dropped down so that the sitting person has a back rest and a foot rest. The person that pushes then uses the handles to push. This capability means that the unit travels in the same direction whether used as a rollator or transport chair. The leading two wheels are the only ones that swivel and they swivel in a complete circle. The wheels are very sturdy with molded plastic rims and solid rubber tires.

Answer:	In looking at the unit I got for my wife, there does not appear to be any adjustment for tension in the brake line. The brakes as they are require very little pressure to apply. Nonetheless, it may be possible to make them somewhat easier by strategically applying a silicon spray lubricant at various points along the brake line. Hope this helps.

This one is made of a sturdy metal so you can sit on it and rest. it is not for pushing someone on the seat - the wheels are not made to move with weight on them, especially over bumps and cracks. if someone needs to be pushed on occasion you can't beat the Transporter by the same company - hands down the best one for if someone poops out while walking too long that is the one to get! If it were aluminum like a traditional walker it would collapse if you sat on it. the con would be it's heavier than a traditional aluminum walker but there are many pros. the break system, the seat, the construction, the basket. it's a great little walker.
