Answer:	Wheels are 1 1/2 in wide the front span of the front wheels is 16 inches, and yes it is easy to handle. And will go through doors easily. Fits in the back of the van very easily not very heavy.
Question:	How easy is this to get into a small car
Answer:	The handlebars fold down to make it more compact -- a little tricky the first time you try it, but easy when you figure out how. I can easily transport it in my Honda FIT when folded, but can even squeeze it into certain spots when handlebars are up. And yeah, I'm no spring chicken, pushing 65.
Question:	I see others have pads that seem to be molded to a leg while this one is flat without raised sides. Is it easy to keep your leg on the pad
Answer:	I have several months of experience on both types of pads, and I will tell you the flat ones are better, but a fuzzy 2" foam pad on top of a flat one is optimal. The knee-divot model tends to have a topographical logo in the middle of the divot, which ends up making an impression on your leg. It's not fun, or comfortable. I had to deal with that for the better part of 6 months. I've had this knee rover model for about 3 years now, I put a 2" fuzzy foam pad on it 2 months ago, and that's the most comfortable a scooter has been.

Question:	How can you get the brake lock to work? I've tried to compress brake but cant seem to get the button depressed to lock the brakes
Answer:	It is very difficult to work the break lock for the first time. We had to depress the hand break as far as we could possibly get it and then push the break button. When it locks, it will click into place. It also works easier after the first couple of tries. We had to depress that hand break really hard (I was afraid it might break) before the lock would engage.
Question:	Will it free up my hands? The pics all show people with both hands on the handlebars. Can you steer it one handed
Answer:	I used it for 6 weeks after foot surgery. It is reasonably stable, but I would keep 2 hands on the steering wheel, because is you go around the corner sometimes it will stick a little if you are on carpet. That's why there is a basket so that you can take a phone, bottled water etc. with you. I would not ride the thing with a cup of coffee in my hand. I had people for that, but if you don't put it in a travel cup and in the basket.
Question:	how does this work in small spaces... ie getting in and out of small bathroom.... I live in carpeted apartment - good on carpet
Answer:	The turning radius is really good, but depending on the space in the bathroom, it may be difficult to manuever. The handle bars are narrow enough for tight spaces. If the sink sticks out a bit the handle bars may bump it. I used the scooter on hardwood floors, cement, and asphalt. It scoots very smoothly. As for carpet, I don't think it will be a problem unless its extremely thick carpet.
Question:	does the seat adjust can you sit on the seat
Answer:	The seat is adjustable, however it is not designed to be sat on. I tried that and it didn't really work too well. The problem is, there is no place to rest your feet. And I am assuming that if you re buying a knee wheeler it's because you can't walk on one foot (or leg). A little kid might be able to use it like a little rolling seat, but it is far too low to the ground for an adult.

Question:	Just received mine today and there is a terrible squeak, like metal on metal. Can't really sure where the source is, best guess the back wheel break
Answer:	The only time I experienced any squeak was if the break was engaged. Otherwise there were no problems, just make sure the handle is tightly secured.
Question:	Can the basket be detached for times I do not need to use it
Answer:	The basket is removable. It has two vertical slots in the back of it that slide onto two upright "hooks" mounted on the steering column. The basket is quite sturdy and has enough room to place a macbook vertically. I added a rubber band connected to a piece of string across one corner of the basked which has proven very useful in holding a water bottle. We have a Honda Accord and the scooter with basket attached fits nicely in the trunk.
Question:	I'd rather have pneumatic tires but want the stability of 4 wheels. Has anybody switched out the tires themselves
Answer:	I've kept the original tires and it could use something to stabilize it. I have fallen when a tire got caught in a crack in the street. Overall it does the job. But I don't trust it.

Question:	I'm barely 5 feet, is this going to be too tall for me
Answer:	I'm 5'2" but this is still too tall even on the shortest setting. What matters more than height is the length of your legs. I'm short but with a long torso and a 22" inseam. Question:	Fold easily
Answer:	Fairly. Pull up and out on the silver thing at the front of the handles, then pull to the side, and the handle bars fold down. Not 100% but good enough
Question:	Is it recommended for post hip replacement
Answer:	No. A walker is much more stable for post hip replacement. This scooter is for foot and lower leg injury recovery.
Question:	how do i go about getting this i have a prescription from my insurance
Answer:	maybe keep receipt, send to insurance company & say 3 Hail Mary's?

Question:	Is there a user guide or manual
Answer:	Mine did not come assembled. I had a very difficult time getting the axle attached, and when I had it all put together it would not steer. The manual that comes with it does not offer any detail in the assembly instructions, particularly for the tie rods. There are washers, a bolt, and a nut - no instructions on what order they go in. I'm glad I bought this in advance so I have time to get it working correctly.
Question:	What type of material is it made of
Answer:	The frame is lightweight steel to the best of my knowledge, the seat is very sturdy foam covered with vinyl (very washable), and the tires are tubed, much as a small bicycle but more sturdy. I will be using mine for a second surgery. Actually looking forward to getting back on it. Made my life much easier after surgery.
Question:	need to know if its steerable
Answer:	Because the wheels in the front are rather wide apart compared to other models, the turning radius is really wide. When you are inside buildings you tend to need to jockey it a bit to accomplish the tighter spaces.
Question:	Do the brakes lock? Has anyone had any experience in both the single and double back wheels that could advise on which is better
Answer:	The brake does not lock which I didn't find to be an issue. After reading a few reviews regarding the single or double back wheels, I went with the single because it doesn't get in the way of your pushing foot. Also, these all-terrain wheels roll over carpets and thresholds, no problem, as well as, sidewalks/pavement and asphalt. Turning radius is not great but if you have room in your home, its perfect. Not having to always use crutches was a plus.

Question:	Can someone just rent one of these for a couple of months without having to buy it
Answer:	I'm not exactly sure what your asking, but I used it for after ankle surgery (not weight bearing) and the only issues I had were: 1. Difficulty getting over various bumps 2. Getting it in and out of my car 3. Had to figure out which side to get off of it on... With that being said, I'm single so had to do it all myself. Oh, and it's really not comfy to sit on for long periods, doc ran 3hrs behind my last appt and my butt was killing me! I also bought this with the intention of using this for after knee surgery which will require non weight bearing. And I bought this well in advance of my surgery so that my service dog had time to get used to it also. I really like it though.
Question:	How does this handle cobblestone or brick walkways
Answer:	I don't know the answer to this. I'm 5'1" and found the lower settings too low for me. The foot rest also doesn't play well with the basket, unless you're going straight.
Question:	The seat came with a puncture hole in the box and the seat, what can be done to get a replacement seat
Answer:	I'm adding to my answer, in regard to the "mist" question. Instead of toilet paper, I use moistened perineal wipes which are about the size of 2 sheets of toilet paper. Amazon has a large selection; I've happily used both Babo & Good Wipes brands. These work better at cleaning the area than toilet paper.
Question:	I purchased one of these walkers at the end of November. The axle just broke and the wheel fell off. Is this covered under warranty
Answer:	PERFECT!!!!!! I've had 5 spine surgeries (3 fusions) so twisting to wipe is virtually impossible. This is THE BEST aid ever!!! Now they need to make a collapsible one to take on the road...
