Answer:	I have several months of experience on both types of pads, and I will tell you the flat ones are better, but a fuzzy 2" foam pad on top of a flat one is optimal. The knee-divot model tends to have a topographical logo in the middle of the divot, which ends up making an impression on your leg. It's not fun, or comfortable. I had to deal with that for the better part of 6 months. I've had this knee rover model for about 3 years now, I put a 2" fuzzy foam pad on it 2 months ago, and that's the most comfortable a scooter has been.

Answer:	Fairly. Pull up and out on the silver thing at the front of the handles, then pull to the side, and the handle bars fold down. Not 100% but good enough

Question:	How can you get the brake lock to work? I've tried to compress brake but cant seem to get the button depressed to lock the brakes
Answer:	It is very difficult to work the break lock for the first time. We had to depress the hand break as far as we could possibly get it and then push the break button. When it locks, it will click into place. It also works easier after the first couple of tries. We had to depress that hand break really hard (I was afraid it might break) before the lock would engage.
Question:	Will it free up my hands? The pics all show people with both hands on the handlebars. Can you steer it one handed
Answer:	I used it for 6 weeks after foot surgery. It is reasonably stable, but I would keep 2 hands on the steering wheel, because is you go around the corner sometimes it will stick a little if you are on carpet. That's why there is a basket so that you can take a phone, bottled water etc. with you. I would not ride the thing with a cup of coffee in my hand. I had people for that, but if you don't put it in a travel cup and in the basket.
Question:	how does this work in small spaces... ie getting in and out of small bathroom.... I live in carpeted apartment - good on carpet
Answer:	The turning radius is really good, but depending on the space in the bathroom, it may be difficult to manuever. The handle bars are narrow enough for tight spaces. If the sink sticks out a bit the handle bars may bump it. I used the scooter on hardwood floors, cement, and asphalt. It scoots very smoothly. As for carpet, I don't think it will be a problem unless its extremely thick carpet.
Question:	does the seat adjust can you sit on the seat
Answer:	The seat is adjustable, however it is not designed to be sat on. I tried that and it didn't really work too well. The problem is, there is no place to rest your feet. And I am assuming that if you re buying a knee wheeler it's because you can't walk on one foot (or leg). A little kid might be able to use it like a little rolling seat, but it is far too low to the ground for an adult.

The walker must be Medically necessary and prescribed by your doctor or other treating provider for use in your home. If you can get a doctor's prescription saying that crutches or canes will not provide the support needed, it may be possible for Medicare Part B to cover a knee walker. Medicare considers this to be a luxury medical device; not one of necessity when crutches will suffice. Answer:	I found that I could use the iWalk with crutches to walk long distances comfortably. Great for around the house and short trips with no crutches.

Answer:	From the manufacturer - the answer is definitively yes. As many have mentioned, if the boot is partial height, and does not run the full length of the crutch knee platform, then you will want to build up the are in front of the top of the boot with additional foam, or a folded hand towel or similar. This isn't always necessary - it depends on the thickness of the boot, but it generally results in greater comfort. Build up the area higher than you think you should, then try it, and reduce the thickness until you find the most comfortable, functional height. Remember to keep the straps tight - this is essential to have the best control and efficiency from the crutch.The only situation that can cause problems is with some air boots, which have inflation bladders positioned on the front of the boot. These can overinflate during use (but this isn't always the case). If yours does this, then the bladder can either be disabled or you can use a different boot. Hint - make sure the knee strap is tight - if the knee cannot lift during gait, the bladder won't pump air.Additional foam with peel and stick adhesive can be purchased from our website, but a folded hand towel works just as well, and it's free. Just remember to start too thick, then reduce the thickness until it's optimized.

Answer:	From the manufacturer - typically the answer is yes, you do need to remove it- HOWEVER, 1. After a day or two, most people take 10-15 seconds to put on / take off the iWALK (your first day you won't believe this is possible, but you'll see - it really is IF you're using the straps correctly). 2. After you're proficient and confident on the iWALK2.0, for short trips, don't strap in - just use the handle to keep the crutch in contact with your leg and to stabilize it. It's really easy and quite convenient.

Answer:	Yes, absolutely. That said, be aware that an iWALK2.0 can never be as efficient as a human leg, so the effort to do distance in an iWALK is greater than normal human walking. The most recent long distance walk that comes to mind is a man who was an amputee and had committed to do a charity walk of two miles, but was derailed due to his amputation. He used his iWALK2.0 to keep mobile while he was waiting for his leg to heal and be capable of using his prosthetic. As part of his training, he walked long distances in this iWALK20. He was fitted with his prosthetic and was able to complete the charity event, even though it was on the first day of having his new prosthetic. His doctor, in 25 years of fitting prosthetics, had never seen anything like this, and attributed the feat to the work he had done with the iWALK2.0. There are numerous accounts of people doing longer distances such as 10k's, long hikes, etc. Again, to be fair, it will require more effort than normal, but it is certainly doable, as many have proven.

Question:	Just received mine today and there is a terrible squeak, like metal on metal. Can't really sure where the source is, best guess the back wheel break
Answer:	The only time I experienced any squeak was if the break was engaged. Otherwise there were no problems, just make sure the handle is tightly secured.
Question:	Can the basket be detached for times I do not need to use it
Answer:	The basket is removable. It has two vertical slots in the back of it that slide onto two upright "hooks" mounted on the steering column. The basket is quite sturdy and has enough room to place a macbook vertically. I added a rubber band connected to a piece of string across one corner of the basked which has proven very useful in holding a water bottle. We have a Honda Accord and the scooter with basket attached fits nicely in the trunk.
Question:	I'd rather have pneumatic tires but want the stability of 4 wheels. Has anybody switched out the tires themselves
Answer:	I've kept the original tires and it could use something to stabilize it. I have fallen when a tire got caught in a crack in the street. Overall it does the job. But I don't trust it.

Answer:	From my experience, nothing releases great but it's not a gigantic deal to use fingertips to release flushable wipes from where they are attached. This would be the clean, non-used side of the wipe that is tucked into the groove on the back of the tool. I find I greatly prefer flushable wipes to toilet paper. Answer:	The “seat” does not sit at an angle. It is not flat though. Like all knee scooters there is an indentation in the middle. Remember it is not a seat it is a platform for your knee not a place to sit.

Answer:	About 24-25” excluding the basket, which would add a couple more inches in length.

Answer:	I believe you can replace them. As to "buying" them, I would send that question to the manufacturer.

Question:	What is the benefit of having tie rod steering on a knee scooter
Answer:	The tires are made from some kind of hard plastic. They won't handle something like a deep car tire rut, but are fine for the uneven surfaces I have encountered. I would guess they can handle any hole up to about 3-4 inches, at least if the user is careful. Small pebbles or cracks should not be a problem. I have used mine in snow and over gravel and in mud without any issues that can't be attributed to my so-so balance. The large wheels make this walker pretty adaptable. Please also note that I am 66 and have a below the knee prosthesis, which does affect my balance, so take that into account when choosing. The rollator is also very sturdy. Overall, I am very pleased with what this walker offers me, and the price is outstanding.
Question:	What type of valve do the tires have? Shrader, Presta, Dunlop
Answer:	I find the 8" wheels provide more strength and more security when using the walker. My previous two walkers had 6" wheels that broke off. I have had this walker for a long time now and no problems with the wheels at all. I recommend the 8" wheels over the 6" wheels without hesitation.

Answer:	Don't know weight limit. My mother uses the seat comfortably, I've even sat on its debt I'm hefty. It has proven reliable for walking around.
