Answer:	Not thin like a compression tee shirt. Best guesstimate is the body is about 1/16” thick and a little thicker at the end seams were the gripping is. I live in Florida and an avid golfer and really like this particular band after trying several other brands. Position the brace behind the knee as shown. The longer strap should be on the bottom.
