Answer:	Hi Martin, in my case, I needed the bar mounted horizontally, so if my hand slipped at one point, I could slide it on across the bar. The best answer is to decide which works best for you. Even an angle mount is popular in some applications. Mine also doubles as a towel bar, so I mounted it horizontally. Now, structurally, it's going to be the same...find the stud...and if needed, use the mounting kit..(priced separately, but worth it.) Hope this helps!

Answer:	I own IKEA Lenda curtains in beige and attempted to buy more last spring. . . When I couldn’t get them, I bought these from Amazon in natural. Although I cannot speak for the white color, I can tell you about the fabrics. *Lenda is made from a thicker, denser weave fabric with subtle vertical lines. They block light and provide privacy. They were extremely long and had to be hemmed to fit the living room windows in our garage apartment. I would call these Traditional in styling. I have dark brown woven blinds from IKEA under them. *Linen Curtains are made from a thinner, looser weave material with “flecks” of darker color. They hang well, filter light and provide general privacy, but will provide NO insulatio curtains n. These look Farmhouse or Natural BoHo in style. I cut the loops off of them and hung them with black rings on a black rods in our bedrooms, living room and dining room. I cut one up to make a bathroom curtain as well. I do like the simplicity of these in front of white pleated blinds from IKEA. Hope that helps.

Answer:	Hello, I don' think I can answer this. My tie-backs are lovely. They are white. I use them in doors on white curtains. I have had no fade transfer. But, I have an idea. Why don't you buy a similar piece of polyester, tie it with the tieback and hang it outside until it rains and give it a test run? That is the only way I can think of to see if any fading/transfer would occur.

Answer:	The rope has a diameter of just under 1/2 inch. The length of the piece is 18 inches. The ball at the end has a diameter of about 2 1/2 inch and the loop is about 4 1/2 inch. I love these tiebacks. Easy to use and natural.

Answer:	Mine would not stay on even when wrapped around the curtain since my curtains are not really thick. So I attached them to my window trim and they always stay in place. I like the tie back a lot and do recommend them.

Answer:	Relying on any kind of safety bar that's not been securely mounted to wall framing is a hospital visit waiting to happen. The force of an adult in a falling situation would easily pull most hollow wall anchors right through the drywall.
Question:	How can I buy a replacement tray
Answer:	Measure the width of the area where you will install the rod. Allow a few extra inches, as the rings around the bar brackets are about 3" across (see picture). The bar is not a narrow one. It is about 4" around - nice and sturdy. I used two different sizes in my shower for support & safety. I had them installed by my contractor, who drilled extra long screws into the 2 x 4's - I can trust them to hold me up in the shower if needed. Very good quality. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I have bushed nickel fixtures and the peened surface in stainless seems to match very well , I love this grab bar ,it looks less "handicapped" than just a straight bar.
Question:	what size drill bit do you need to install this grab bar? What size screws are included for installation
Answer:	If you go to a hardware store they have ways to mount materials onto brick. The bracket area is normal thickness and the screw holes are standard diameter. I suspect they could be attached but I'm not sure how secure it would be. Most items attached to brick are not designed to support someone. I would be more inclined to find a contractor who could tie in an actual railing either to the base or brick wall.
Question:	can this be used inside the shower
Answer:	As Far as I can tell, yes. We held it each way to see which was more beneficial for my Mom. There was no difference in the mounting, long side left or right . . . just be sure which way you want it before drilling the holes. There are three brackets, one at each end and one near the corner bend on the longer side. We have been very happy with the product.
Question:	Does the grab bar have grips or other non-slip features
Answer:	A 1-3/8" should be no problem, because the plate that is inserted into the wall is more than 1-3/8" long. Also, the face plate on the outside of the wall is large than the hole.

Answer:	The mounting flanges on this model are on 16" centres, with 6 mounting holes on each flange. You should have no problem with regulation studs...the 6 mounting holes are designed to provide for imperfect stud lines.
Question:	Would this flip up grab bar work for assistance in getting into and out of bed
Answer:	Yes, the diameter is 1 1/2 inches; the circumference is approximately 4 3/4 inches.
Question:	What are the dimensions of the rectanglular support plate
Answer:	Not sure I visualize this but if it's a 1 3/4" recess (similar to a groove), the two end flanges and flange cover won't fit in a space that side. The two round flange covers are about a 3" diameter. If my visualization is not correct, I apologize for my answer.
Question:	What is the weight limit of this grab bar
Answer:	It measures 16" from center to center. Perfect for 16" on center studs. Outer flange to outer flange is 19" if you need clearance info.
