Answer:	It’ll initially suction but it won’t last since any wood is porous even if it’s finished or varnished. You can only use this bar for assist or balance. There’s a warning not to use it to pull one’s self up from the tub. That’s dangerous.

Answer:	Should work if surface is clean & flat.
Question:	Will this work on 4" tiles
Answer:	did you ever find one with a smaller suction cup? I need that for my subway tiled bathroom.

Answer:	This will work like all suction cups. If the surface is not flat, smooth & clean, the suction cup will not be able to create the vacuum it needs to maintain a solid grip to the surface. The surface does not need to be "Glossy" as it needs to be smooth, flat and free of debris. I hope this helps.

Answer:	Hi Martin, in my case, I needed the bar mounted horizontally, so if my hand slipped at one point, I could slide it on across the bar. The best answer is to decide which works best for you. Even an angle mount is popular in some applications. Mine also doubles as a towel bar, so I mounted it horizontally. Now, structurally, it's going to be the same...find the stud...and if needed, use the mounting kit..(priced separately, but worth it.) Hope this helps!

Question:	I'm trying to replace an old grab bar in the shower. want to reuse existing bolt holes. how do i find right bar? end to end, or bolt to bolt
Answer:	The co supplied 12 #8 SS. screws. I used a 1/4" carbide drill bit with my hammer drill. The screws are approx. 1.5" long. After drilling the holes in the tile I used silicone RTV to seal the plugs and the screws.

Answer:	11.5 inches high by 5.75 inches wide. Horizontally, the center of the screw holes are 4.75 inches apart. This is a problem unless you have extra studs in your bathroom walls. I got lucky because of the extra window and plumbing support studs near my mounting location

Answer:	I own IKEA Lenda curtains in beige and attempted to buy more last spring. . . When I couldn’t get them, I bought these from Amazon in natural. Although I cannot speak for the white color, I can tell you about the fabrics. *Lenda is made from a thicker, denser weave fabric with subtle vertical lines. They block light and provide privacy. They were extremely long and had to be hemmed to fit the living room windows in our garage apartment. I would call these Traditional in styling. I have dark brown woven blinds from IKEA under them. *Linen Curtains are made from a thinner, looser weave material with “flecks” of darker color. They hang well, filter light and provide general privacy, but will provide NO insulatio curtains n. These look Farmhouse or Natural BoHo in style. I cut the loops off of them and hung them with black rings on a black rods in our bedrooms, living room and dining room. I cut one up to make a bathroom curtain as well. I do like the simplicity of these in front of white pleated blinds from IKEA. Hope that helps.

How to Install Wall Mounted Safety Bar?

Step 1: Locate wall studs where you want to install the bath/shower safety handle;

Step 2: Drill holes through the ceramic tiles or tub enclosure into the studs to start the screws;

Step 3: A cover plate can be slide over the mounting plate with the holes;

How to Install Wall Mounted Safety Bar

Step 1: Locate wall studs where you want to install the bath/shower safety handle;

Step 2: Drill holes through the ceramic tiles or tub enclosure into the studs to start the screws;

Step 3: A cover plate can be slide over the mounting plate with the holes;

Each end has flat plate with 3 holes in each. Thus grab handle can be fastened with screws or bolts to a wall or a cabinet.

Question:	what is the size of drill bit for anchor hole
Answer:	I didn't read that it was waterproof. I know in general with their covers when my baby spits up a lot on it, I clean it a bit & take the cover off & put it in the laumdry. Usually there is a little bit of something on the pillow even if I didn't clean the cover a bit. It's not soaked though.

Question:	Do i need to purchase any screws or bolts
Answer:	I installed mine in a fiberglass shower surround, and they are holding up well, but there are a few factors to consider. If you can find an area that doesn't sound hollow, it may have backing blocks behind it, or it may be an area that the manufacturer added extra material to. Those are the best spots to try to anchor to. If you attach it to any other area, you are only attaching to material that is about 1/8" thick. If you drill the holes small enough for the screws to get good grip, and don't overtighten them so that they strip the material they are threading into, then they may hold well for a long time. You can also add construction adhesive to hold the base plates to the fiberglass, and this will help.
Question:	Can these be mounted to ceramic tiles? What anchors
Answer:	I’m not really sure what you’re trying to ask. The nonslip pattern isn’t enough to hurt your hands. It’s not like sandpaper but it’s definitely better than having a non textured surface.

Answer:	Don’t know the size but they were too short so used longer ones from some I had on hand

Answer:	Sorry I did not read your question until now. It measures 16.5 inches end to end. The 12 inch description is probably referring to the grabbable length.
