Answer:	Mercurichrome and Iodine are two different things. Mercurichrome is made from mercury and is used topically as an antiseptic solution. Mercurichrome is not taken internally. Iodine is a mineral that the body requires for thyroid function and metabolism as well as healthy bones and other needs. I suggest you google each of these things to learn more about them.

Question:	Will these suction to finished wood
Answer:	I do not have marble so the surface is not the same. I live in an apartment and think the shower is some sort of polyproplene. My son put mine on the shower for me. We first cleaned the surface with rubbing alcohol and wiped down with paper towel. Did you prepare the surface? I have used them since November 2019 and he has had to replace both of the one time for me (at different times) . Each time, I had pushed downward as I was standing in the tub and leaned on it to wash the bottoms of my feet. Normal use of using it as an assist to get in and out does not seem to disturb the seal.

2. Drilling the wall and hammer the anchor into the hole.

Question:	what is the total length of bar with caps when installed
Answer:	Depends on what you are installing into. Wood backing, masonary, drywall with the proper anchors. The finish rings slide on bar to expose a flange that normally will have a few mounting points. Two to three fastners per side. I prefer Toggler brand snap toggles for drywall install.
Question:	What size are the included screws? What size drill bit is recommended for the pre-drill holes
Answer:	The diameter of the mounting feet cover is 3 inches. The overall length is 26 3/4" end of foot cover to end of foot cover.
Question:	does this come in a 24" size
Answer:	We just installed these last weekend, put 2 into tiled shower. Used drill bit that specified ok with tile and used caulk around screw plate under cover to keep waterproof. Special drill bit meant tiles didn't crack. Also used stud-finder to mount on studs for added security plus used inset anchors in tile walls to ensure no pull-out when grasped. Took somewhat longer than anticipated to install but when done, not worried about them coming loose or causing safety issues.
Question:	Can this be installed verticaly
Answer:	I bought the 18 inch grab bar but from the top tip of the bracket to the bottom end of the bracket the length is 21 inches.

Answer:	I would think so. It’s adjustable to fit almost any standard tub. It’s is very sturdy once it has been installed and tightened.

Answer:	I do not see why not ...just watch on how much you tighten the rail onto the tub for you don't want to crack the sides of your tub ...I do feel you can use the rail on your tub safely and can tighten it enough to use this rail to use safely....
Question:	does the 30 inch have a textured grip
Answer:	No, the bar itself is smooth metal.
Question:	Is the color peened, brushed nickel
Answer:	If you position the side with the dial to tighten it on the inside of the tub it should work

Answer:	There're stainless steel screws (6 for each bar) included for stud-mount. If you are mounting the bars on tile wall, you will need to purchase tile wall anchors. Thank you for your support to AmeriLuck!

Answer:	Yes. Mine are mounted in my shower. However, they were anchored by my contractors. All I can tell you is that they’re attached to the stud in the wall, and we have new tiles.

Answer:	I think they are 10 by 2inch. I had to go to 3in. screws on part of my application. I also used a caulk around all the screws. You will probably need a stud finder?

Question:	Will this work on a plastic tub surround
Answer:	It’ll initially suction but it won’t last since any wood is porous even if it’s finished or varnished. You can only use this bar for assist or balance. There’s a warning not to use it to pull one’s self up from the tub. That’s dangerous.
Question:	will this work on a regular wall to help get out of a low bed
Answer:	Should work if surface is clean & flat.
Question:	Will this work on 4" tiles
Answer:	did you ever find one with a smaller suction cup? I need that for my subway tiled bathroom.
Question:	how long does it stay on the wall once secured
Answer:	This will work like all suction cups. If the surface is not flat, smooth & clean, the suction cup will not be able to create the vacuum it needs to maintain a solid grip to the surface. The surface does not need to be "Glossy" as it needs to be smooth, flat and free of debris. I hope this helps.
