Answer:	No not really. I use it with my down comforters and pillows. I use a little less than instructed though then dry my items in the dryer. Once dry I put out in sun all day on a sunny day. Answer:	Note that the company disclosed years ago what's in the product and EWG hasn't updated its website. As for any link to cancer, look deeper into the site. You'd have to drink gallons of the stuff to put yourself at risk. That said, I, too, have friends and family with hyper sensitive skin. They have my sympathy. When I first started using Charlie's, clothes came out rough. A couple more washings, though, and they were soft and not the least bit irritating. I suspect crud from gooey previous detergents finally got washed out.

Answer:	A Spa or Swimming Pool should be PH 7.4-7.6 if your PH is too low then adding "washing soda" or Na2CO3 is the exact same as buying PH Increaser at twice the price from Bioguard or another pool company... Pools should also have a "Total Alkalinity between 125-150ppm if it's too low ... you add a product called "sodium hydrogen carbonate" aka sodium Bicarbonate (NaHCO3) or "Baking Soda" ... lastly if your PH is too High.. you add Sodium bisulfate, aka sodium hydrogen sulfate NaHSO4 commonly listed as "PH Decreaser" .... Pool companies try to "hide" this to make a profit by listing "sodium hydrogen carbonate" on the label instead of saying "go buy baking soda" at 1/2 the price at the local grocery store...

Answer:	I use it to make laundry detergent along with borax and a bar of Fels Naptha soap. I make 10 gallons for about $10 and it is so much cheaper and it gets my clothes so clean. Look for a recipe online and try it.

Question:	Looking for a biodegradable option as we are off grid with a drain field. Would these be good
Answer:	It is good for hydrophobic and normal down.
Question:	Can you use these with a water softener
Answer:	It depends on weather the down in your jacket is hydrophobic (water repellent) or not. If the down is water repellent, then you should use the "Direct". If the down is not water repellent, it does not mater, you can go with whatever is cheaper. If you don't know, use the Direct formula. If your jacket is more than 3 or 4 years old, the down in your jacket is probably not hydrophobic. Nikwax also makes a product to make your down hydrophobic. More importantly, when you wash your jacket DO NOT use the tennis ball or shoes in the dryer method. This method is better than drying without doing anything at all, but you WILL NOT get your jacket fully re-lofted (you probably won't anyways). The best way to reloft your jacket is to pull apart the feathers to break up clumps as it's drying. You can do this with a dryer or not. If you use a dryer, pull it out and tease the feathers every 5 - 10 minutes. Try and find a sunny spot if you don't use a dryer. It is time consuming, but worth it. At first it will seem like nothing is happening, then all of a sudden you have a puffy jacket. It should come out more puffy than before you washed it if you use this method. Trust me on this, I've owned a lot of down. You can also take it to a professional, but make sure they do down specifically. A lot of brands, such as Marmot, also provide a cleaning service and may even top off your jacket with extra down.

Answer:	Yes it does I use it on all my Down comforters from King to Queen. I have a huge top load efficency with huge stainless tub. It works Great! In fact I rated and put it on here. Love how they feel afterwards. So clean and soft. DON'T PUT FABRIC SOFTENER IN WASH.

Question:	How many square feet would you think one bottle of solution would cover
Answer:	As per the instructions: Two caps (100 ml) per jacket or 3 caps (150 ml) for a sleeping bag. So, apply accordingly size and dirt. Hope this helps.
Question:	How many cleanings can you get out of the 50oz. hoover oxy deep cleaning shampoo solution
Answer:	It depends on your needs. Both will wash your down items, the blue adds a water resistant coating. That's great for outdoor items like coats, sleeping bags, etc. This kit was easy to use and did an great job washing my down coat!
Question:	Is it better than deep clean and restore
Answer:	I called customer services as 3.4 fl oz was not obvious since there are no marking on the cap of how big it is. 3.4 fl oz as the instructions state is the recommended amount of wash for two items. This is equivalent to 2 cap fulls of Nikwax for two items. If only washing 1 item, use 1 cap full of Nikwax.
Question:	Is this safe for a septic system
Answer:	As long as the wash cycle is set to gentle, using either a front loading or top loading(agitator or non-agitator) will work fine. There is always a chance a down clothing could catch and wrap around the agitator. Nothing is fool-proof. I'd recommend washing the down piece using a mesh laundry wash bag, or a pillow case in a pinch, as someone else suggested.

• The quicker you can treat the stain, the better. If you are unable to launder the garment immediately, leave it to soak in a pan full of cold water.
• Turn the fabric so the stain is face-down and rinse it from the back.
• Never wash a blood stain in warm or hot water, which may cause it to bond permanently to the fibers of the fabric.

Question:	I'm having trouble getting this to mix into anything other than very hot water, and it leaves soap bits on my clothes. Any tips
Answer:	I haven’t used it on aluminum. On stainless steel, results are mediocre. I prefer Scrub Daddy with Ivory liquid on stainless steel. Keeps the shine and no scratches. Sorry if I sound like a commercial, LOL.
Question:	Is it hypoallergenic
Answer:	I prefer it for jewelry over others on the market. I wear mostly sterling silver jewelry and it works beautifully.
Question:	is this stuff supposed to get sudsy in the wash? I noticed it wasn't
Answer:	Yes but not ideal. I would just get some Brasso for a brass piece.
Question:	How does this fair with hard water
Answer:	It is thicker like a lotion.
