Question:	Is it oral only or also rectal
Answer:	Unfortunately, I don't think you can set the alarm for a specific temperature, but you say you don't want that, anyway. Worse, you must press the button to even see the current temperature, and then in a few seconds, it goes dark. It appears very accurate and the probe hasn't died (the weakest part in any of these). Press the button every so often till your brisket reaches your temperature or...buy a better one. Frankly, I think this product is awful, when compared to the best which imho is https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01ATR35BO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (and sadly, no longer available).

Question:	I have taken my temperature twice and i keep getting a reading of only 97.6 deg. f. why is it reading so low? can it be calibrated
Answer:	My normal temp for past few years has been 97.2. I found this helpful explanation about measurement differences on the body: "Although there is no one “normal” temperature reading, a temperature, taken orally, ranging between 97°F and 100°F is considered normal. A rectal temperature is generally 1° higher and an underarm (auxillary) temperature will be 1° lower."

Answer:	I have one. The battery died quickly. The replacement batteries only lasted a SHORT time. Next time I get a digital thermometer that takes something like AAA or AA batteries, since when you are sick, needing to fool around with tiny batteries, needing to buy batteries, etc. isn't acceptable.

I see this so often on almost every review! It isn't legal to transport hazardous materials as such without special permits. Tanks can be purchased at a local welding supply store and you should follow any and all regulations to safely transport them. One thing I know for sure is the tanks should be transported upright. These tanks can be literal bombs if not treated properly! Be careful! The torch set that show tanks included are EMPTY TANKS! You would need to bring them to the welding supply to trade them for full ones or have them filled. You might as well buy them locally and support your community! BE SAFE!
