Answer:	if the mole hides in the hole in daytime ,the infrared camera cannot detect them ,because the thermal imager cant measure the temp of the mole through the soil , once they come out to destroy the plants in night ,it will be detected immediately .
Question:	How well will this detect critters in walls or attics, such as snakes or mice
Answer:	Not at all. Unfortunately it will not image like an X-ray. It will image based on what it reads as the surface temperature and radiated heat. A critter wouldn’t generate enough heat to go through drywall let alone wood or brick/mortar.

Answer:	EXTREMELY GOOD. Turn off MSX mode (Multi Spectral Imaging) i.e. make it "pure thermal" mode, (A simple screen tap) and it'll close focus down to a few inches. Not only finding shorts, but various heated or overheated components. It's fantastic for tuning transmitters, as you can watch transistors and even tuning coils and literally tune visually. (Things run cooler when transmitter tuning is properly setup/matched) It's especially helpful for large RF amplifiers with parallel transistors because you can see when they're in balance. Tuning those with a FLIR is like setting dimmer switches on a bank of light bulbs. (Except the dimmers, are of course, tuning capacitors and coils)

Works great, especially for comparing small differences in temperature from one surface to another... like heat or cooling losses through house, heat gain inside home in summer with sun heat. Answer:	The thermal imager detects the temperature difference to display the temperature difference. The 3.5" cement will isolate the heat, and the camera cannot penetrate the cement to measure the temperature difference.
Question:	Will this camera detect body heat like a normal thermal imager, for like say....finding missing victims
Answer:	Like all informed experts will tell you "It Depends". Infrared imagers show differential temperature, so the "environment" has to be a different temperature than the human body. If its 98.6 degrees out, or if the "Victim" has cooled down to ambient, you aren't going to see squat.

Question:	I am rephrasing the question. Can infrared camera detect a cat hiding behind fiberglass insulation material in the wall
Answer:	I would say no! The spot on wall may show a difference in wall surface temperature but distinguishing this as a cat is unlikely.
Question:	Can the e4 be used with the wifi powered off? thank you
Answer:	Yes. The unit works like a handheld “camera” with an internal storage. Take your images edit settings, review images on screen, etc. The WiFi option has two modes: 1) direct connect to handheld device (I.e. iPad) using device own antenna or 2) connect to hone WiFi network and to a device (I.e. iPad)
Question:	can it detect a cat hiding inside fiberglass
Answer:	Should be able to detect the heat from the cat depending on how close to fiberglass.
Question:	Has anyone tried to see mosquito larve in shallow water or stagnant water
Answer:	I have not seen that application. If the larvae is under water, the IR camera would not work. If it is above water and has a different temperature than the water, it could be seen.
Question:	Can you take photos to download with this one
Answer:	This FLIR device is not capable for pictures. It is more like a hardened device for use by firefighters in finding the seat of the fire or tracking hot spots. We use our industrially for finding and correcting loose electrical connections and for insulation surveys. Often use mobile phone to snap a picture of the screen if it is unusual or to meet needs for communication,
