1. How Pymeter control temperature?

Temperature controller is actual Heating/Cooling controller, thus MUST SET ON-Temp to turn ON Heating/Cooling, and MUST SET OFF-Temp to turn OFF Heating/Cooling.

Heating starts at LOW Temp [ON-Temp(1oN, 2oN)], stops at HIGH Temp [OFF-Temp(1oF, 2oF)], thus for heating MUST SET 1oN(2oN) LESS than 1oF(2oF);

In heating mode, 1oN(2oN) is the minimum temp you allow, 1oF(2oF) is the maximum temp you allow.

Cooling starts at HIGH Temp [ON-Temp(1oN, 2oN)], stops at LOW Temp [OFF-Temp(1oF, 2oF)], thus for cooling MUST SET 1oN(2oN) GREATER than 1oF(2oF).

In cooling mode, 1oN(2oN) is the maximum temp you allow, 1oF(2oF) is the minimum temp you allow.

2. Reading temp is inaccurate?

Every Pymeter controller is calibrated before come out of factory, it is reading temp accurately!

Please don't compare it to common inaccurate thermostat、thermometer or temp gun. If you doubt Pymeter controller accuracy, please calibrate with ice-water mixture (it is 32F when ice is melting), and you will see which device is accurate then.

3. Beeper keeps sounding?

Probably it is the Alarm settings ( AL、AH、d7 ) you set are NOT the right temperature you want. AL is low temperature alarm(it sounds when current temp is AL or Lower), AH is high temperature alarm(it sounds when current temp is AH or Higher), d7 is difference alarm(it sounds when the temp deviation between sensor 1 and sensor 2 is over d7). If you don't need alarm function, please don't change the values of AL、AH、d7, the default values usually won't trigger alarm. You can factory reset by switching temp unit from F to C in setting.

Answer:	It arrives rolled, but just barely. Careful cutting the binding as it will spring open at once. Probably couldn't be rolled easily by something not a machine--very sturdy and durable. Does not curl up on the floor--once it's open, it's open for good.
Question:	can you turn the alarm on silent
Answer:	You can cut the mat to fit any configuration you want. I bought 3 of these mats and cut them all to fit in around door jams and to a finished contour shape that covers a much larger area than I could find a single mat to cover. I used an oscillating multi tool with a fine blade, but a jig saw with a fine tooth blade, or a skill saw/ table saw etc will work too. You will most likely have to deburr the edges when you're done as it will raise a burr no matter what you cut it with. I wish I could send a picture with my answer.

Answer:	I bought two rectangular mats for two desk areas and have had them for about 1 year. I have never had any sticking to the floor--but I do pick up the mats every 4 weeks in order to clean the wood floor. The smooth side goes down on the wood floor (rough side up) and actually will slide around if you are not careful when you step onto the mat.

Answer:	I'm not an ac tech, but Y1 is 24 volts ac. Depends what kind of unit you have. I have Lennox units with the new I-control, so went to the i-control 24 volt input.

Answer:	Unless you have an outdoor compressor (or heat pump) that is more than 20 years old, it would be a better idea to use two AG3000s, or in my case, I use three AG3000s. Let me explain. The main difference between the CD1-024R and the AG3000 is the CD1 has short cycle protection in addition to surge protection. What this means is that if you have a power failure that lasts just a few seconds, the CD1 prevents your compressor or heat pump from starting right away because this "short-cycle" can damage the compressor. However, virtually all compressors and heat pumps that were manufactured in the past 20 years have short-cycle protection built in to the unit, so the CD1 would extend the delayed startup from 3 minutes to about 5-6 minutes. This is completely unnecessary, and since CD1 costs significantly more than the AG, you may be wasting money for a feature you already have. You could test your unit by tripping the circuit breaker that feeds your compressor while the compressor is running, then flip it back on after a couple of seconds. Check your compressor and see if it comes on right when you flip the breaker on, or is delayed a few minutes. I use an AG3000 on my outdoor compressor, and two AG3000s on my two stage 240v electric heating coil of my air handling unit located in my house. A two stage heating coil requires one surge protector for each 240v line (there are also three stage heat coils out there too). So doing it the way I did protects my outdoor compressor and my indoor air handling and heating unit. This is called point-of-use protection. I also have a whole house surge protection device on my circuit breaker box which suppresses voltage spikes at the mains, and suppresses to help protect all electrical devices in the entire house. Both are recommended according to the experts in this industry. I hope this helps
