| Answer: | Good morning Alex, I haven’t worn them enough to remember if there’s hip pads in there but with most all of my shell pants I wear a base layer with pads built in so they are in the correct place the pants seem to shift around a little bit for me, Body armor is about the same price as if you were to buy the pads and place them in there the beauty of the under armor garment is that you can even wear them with a pair of jeans if you did not want to put on your motorcycle pants hope this helps Brian |

| Answer: | I have the 12volt jacket liner.... i absolutely love it! It heats up very fast and the warmth is outstanding! I would buy this over an external battery jacket any day. The draw back is you cant use it off your bike or sled. |
