Before Application:

1. Clean and dry the application area. Remember you should only apply electrodes to unbroken skin.

2. Open and remove electrodes from packaging. Remember to keep the original packaging.

3. Peel electrodes away from release sheet by lifting the edge of the electrode. Do not pull electrodes up by the wires.

4. If electrodes seem dry, or the pads don’t stick, add a few drops water to moisten gel and wait a few minutes to allow water to re-hydrate the adhesive gel.

5. Place electrodes on treatment area. Apply finger pressure to the edges and press down on entire electrode to assure adequate contact with skin.

Removal:

1. Gently peel off the electrodes.

2. Wipe off electrodes with a non-alcohol wipe or rinse with cold water and wait for it to dry. Sticky side should remain up so it does not adhere to anything.

3. Place the sticky side of the electrode on the clear sheet it arrived in and put back in the packaging.

4. Store electrodes in a cool, dry place not exposed to bright light or any extreme temperature as it may have a permanent adverse effect on the gel. Electrodes can also be kept in the fridge to maximize their lifespan.

Question:	Can anyone confirm if this works with the tens
Answer:	There is no need to use an electrode gel on Syrtenty Electrode Pads. They are self-adhering and pre-gelled.
Question:	Has these caused rashes to anyone else
Answer:	I've owned a professional grade Empi TENS machine since 2005. It came with one package of four 2 x 2 and one package of four 2 x 4 and I'm only replacing them now and this is because the way I was sitting the wire pulled the electrode wire out, I've lost ALL my electroes this way. I don't use it all the time but I will use it daily, sometimes more for several weeks when I have an injury. I find if you carefully remove the pad after use, make sure it's clear of all debri, then rub some clean water over the gel pad, place it back on the strip and put in the zip lock bag and they seem to last indefinitely, or at least 13 years which is how long I've had these pads that still work fine! If you don't clean them and store them immediately then they won't last long at all. DISCLAIMER: I own the Empi electrodes that came with the TENS unit, and I've never bought another brand, so the shelf life may be less. I'm ordering some today so I guess I'll find out!

Direction:

1. TENS Unit Electrodes do not stick well if any lotion, oil, make-up, dirt, etc. is left on skin. Wash treatment areas with soap and water. Rinse thoroughly. Dry completely.
2. Connect stimulator cables securely to the electrode pads so no metal is visible.
3. When removing TENS electrodes from liner or skin, lift on corner gently and pull. DO NOT pull by the cables. Doing so may damage electrodes.
4. Adhesive increases when electrodes reach skin temperature. To increase adhesion further, apply small amount of water and air dry couple of seconds. If electrode pads are extremely dry or to decrease adhesion, use more water and let air dry for a couple of hours.
5. Adjust stimulator off BEFORE attempting to remove TENS electrodes from skin.

Do: Peel electrode pad from liner or skin by lifting at any corner.

Dont: Pull on the wire at any time for removal.

1. When removing electrode pads from the liner, peel up by any corner.

2. Save orginal liner and packaging for storage of tens electrodes.

3. When treatment is done, remove electrode pad from the skin by again peeling up from any corner.

4. Place tens unit electrodes back on original liner and in original packaging.

If electrode gel would seem dry, add just a few drops of water on the gel.

Answer:	I have a tens 7000 so I cannot verify your unit, but I believe this fits most tens units with the pig tail style connections.
