Answer:	Interesting how each answer is the opposite, LOL. The product description above says “Bluelab Guardian Monitor provides 24/7 continuous monitoring.” It also says the probes are “interchangeable” among blue lab testers. So, Apparently the probes can be left in the nutrient solution permanently (with a regular cleaning schedule of course). Now I’m wondering if the probe would last longer stored with the solution, or left in the reservoir. The question also arises if the probes should be hung from the wire, So the testing part of the probe would be an open circulating water (not on the bottom with algae on it etc.).

Answer:	The answer is yes. What you should do is chop up meat very fine and mix it with some distilled water. Shake well and measure the liquid. That will be the pH of the meat

Answer:	The pH meter came with a 9V battery compartment with a terminal clip for the 9V battery. No, the unit does not have 2.5/2.1mm DC jack. If you want to use AC-DC 9V adapter, you will need to find an extender cable with 9v battery pack terminal. Important to ensure the polarity orientation and 9v voltage is correct before connecting. Alternatively, you can use a rechargeable 9v battery and get 2-3 months use before next recharge. This is easier and economical compared to retrofit DC adapter for 9V.

Answer:	Yes!!!! this works perfect as long as you have a circulating pump that is continuously mixing the water in your reservoir This way you’re guaranteed to keep the ph exactly where you want it.

Answer:	It’s not programmable. If the ph is above or below the set point, the pump runs until it is not. Meaning, you need to be able to circulate the tank, and you will need to mess with your acid/base solution strength. But you can achieve what you are asking with experimentation.

Question:	Does this log the ph data? i would like to know ph variance over time
Answer:	This monitor does not have data logging function.
Question:	Why can't you put both in the same water
Answer:	I had the same problem. To fix it I put one probe in first, waited a couple minutes then put in the other one. I don’t remember which one I did first. It’s works fine now.
Question:	Can you leave either probe in the water permanently
Answer:	Yes, you can leave both pH and temperature probes into the water permanently. Just make sure you are only immersing the pH probe and the water doesn't reach the wire to prevent damage. We recommend cleaning each probe once a week or once every 2 weeks. Re-calibration of PH probe should be done if product is used for a long time to ensure accuracy.
Question:	Temp and ph want work together and temp reads
Answer:	mine does the same thing, but mine will only work if the temperature and the pH or in water, my temperature gauge has to be underwater and held down with something, try just using the pH meter and leave the temperature out of water the pH meter should work if not send for a new one

Answer:	Hi, They include 1 packet of high and 1 packet of low calibration fluid. So basically enough for one calibration. If you don't plan on keeping the probe in your tank all the time, be sure to use Electrode probe storage fluid. The tip of the probe should always remain wet. For short period of time you can use calibration fluid in a little bottle to store the probe but if you are going to store for extended times i would recommend storage fluid.
Question:	Hello could I test saliva with this
Answer:	Yes you could, but you would need quite a large sample of saliva to use the probe. It would probably be better to use litmus paper.

Question:	How do I know my plants need watering
Answer:	The soil moisture on the meter dial ranges from 1 to 10 (1-3 dry, 4-7 normal, 8-10 wet). If the plant is very dry, the pointer of the soil meter will not swing or swing slightly. This means that your plants may need water.
Question:	Can this be left continuously in soil
Answer:	I have been leaving mine in the garden, after a few days I removed it and there are deposits clinging to one of the probes and possibly some corrosion. It can still work fine, but I assume that the long term accuracy of the meter will be affected. Now I've taken it out.
Question:	If you wait 10 min to measure pH then switch to moisture or light, do you have to wait another 10 min
Answer:	In fact, you can get the reading immediately, that but I recommend that you need to wait several minutes for the value to stabilize.

Answer:	I have gotten readings within seconds. I usually leave the tool in the soil longer to see if it needs more time to react. I am not a professional.

Answer:	I have used this for about a year and yes the probe has been consistently submerged the whole time. I have it hooked up to a Co2 system to keep my plants lush and green. This is a great system and has never failed me. It is a curate to control PH fuctuations when used with a Co2 system.This unit alone will just be an overpriced pH monitor that will only tell you what the pH levels are + or - when used with Co2 it will automate your tank pH maintenance needs

The pH meter testers have been updated in many aspects, including increase to 6 packs of 3 types of calibration powders and the pH tester and powders are packed in a plastic case which is also packed in a customized hard carton box as pictures shows. If not have these characteristic, the function and quality can't be guaranteed.

Answer:	No, the pH tester could not be pre-calibrated. But it comes with 6 pH buffer powders(2*4.0;2*6.86;2*9.18) to calibrate it, very quick and easy. You don't need to calibrate the tester before each use, only use one-third of any 1 pcs of 6 buffer powders to calibrate it once in a while.
Question:	Is this combo meter for soil use
Answer:	Get some PH storage solution, cheap enough (BRS?), and I cut a piece of a sponge and placed it on the cap. Fill w/ solution every now and then if you use it, if not, leave it upright, so the probe is in the solution. It doesn't have to swim in it, just be in the sponge full of solution.
