1. Place the base of the microscope flush against a flat viewing surface
2. Ensure the LED lighting is switched on
3. Start focusing on the lowest magnification setting (60x)
4. Once you have a clear view of your subject, increase the magnification to your desired level (you may need to slightly adjust the focus again slightly)

A note on using the MicroBrite Plus in the field: Due to high magnification, the focal distance of the MicroBrite Plus is very short (maximum of 2mm past the acrylic base). It is not possible to focus on subjects beyond this focal distance. Looking at larger, three dimensional objects or objects that are not on a flat surface takes practice and a steady hand, especially since small movements are exaggerated with higher magnification. This is why we recommend viewing flatter objects on a flat surface, especially when first using this microscope.

Answer:	Yes, the droppers fit in any sized essential oil bottle that I have tried. I have used them in a 5ml bottle, 10 ml bottle and 2 ounce bottles. So they should fit in a 1/2 oz = 15ml bottle.

As H. Phan said, to find cesium in your product, you would do best to analyze samples of the product using a mass spectrometer, or use specific chemical tests (reactions) which are sensitive enough to show whether cesium is present or not.This instrument separates light into the wavelengths (colors) which make up that light. For example, if you use it to look at light coming from excited (hot, glowing) cesium, it will show you separate colored lines which match what is known for cesium. However, if you look at just a regular product (or even a solid block of cesium) at room temperature, you won't find cesium atoms in an excited state giving off any light for you to see with this instrument. The product material would have to be heated to incandescence (hot enough to glow, like old light bulb filaments), which is not something you can safely do. Even if you did, you would see colored lines from many other elements which are present in much greater amounts than cesium, and you won't be able to tell that cesium is a part of what you are seeing.

Direct observation of the sun can burn your retina, leading to permanent damage. Answer:	I'm not sure if this question is worded correctly. I don't think you can use an otoscope on yourself. Never tried. I've used it on my husband, my 2 year old and my 10 month old. It works fine with my husband and 2 year old because they are able to sit still long enough for me to see the eardrum. My baby is too wiggly and I haven't been able to really see her eardrum. The doctor showed me how to use it, you have to pull the ear back to really see the eardrum. This is not nearly as bright as the one the doctor has, but it works for my purposes. I use it to see if the ear is slightly irritated/red so I know if I should be bringing my son to the doctor for an ear infection. It's very difficult to know if he has one through his actions/mood etc. Hope this helps.

Answer:	It is possible but tricky to point a camera through the viewing window. Self-timers can help with holding everything still with your hands - I captured a light bulb spectrum with my smartphone using one. Outer & Inner Diameter

Outer Diameter (O.D.) - A measure of the distance across the center of the tube from the outermost surfaces.

Inner Diameter (I.D.) - A measure of the distance across the center of the tube from the innermost surfaces.

Concentricity

A measurement of variation in the radial centers, measured at the inner and outer walls.

Concentricity can be thought of as the degree to which the cylinders defined by the inner and outer surfaces of the tube are parallel. If the inner surface deviates and becomes closer to the outer surface that will cause one portion of the tube to have a smaller wall thickness than the other.

Camber

The lack of straightness of an NMR tube.

The camber of an NMR tube is measured by holding the tube on both ends and rotating it. During rotation, gauges measure the deflection in the middle of the tube giving a (+/-) deviation reading. All Wilmad-LabGlass Precision & Economy Thin-Walled tubes are guaranteed to have deviations less than 53.34 μm and can be expected to spin reliably.
