Answer:	The pulley and eyelet are designed to support 2,000 Lbs when rigged correctly with a quality winch and cable. I would expect standard pipe to support up to 1,200 Lbs, but that will depend on wall thickness and quality. If you are looking to support more than that, I could recommend using left over drill stem piping which would support well over 2,000 Lbs. Answer:	The description and box that it came in states, "CARBON FIBER COMPOSITES" and "MADE OF EXTRA STRONG CARBON FIBER COMPOSITES". It is not metal. No part of the calipers is metal. All of the black material that you see in the photos is black, non-metal material and presumably resin-based with chopped carbon fiber strands mixed in. It's made in China. If you need a tool for frequent, durable, long-lasting professional use I would recommend that you seek one made of metal. This device seems reasonable enough for light-duty infrequent use.

Instructions:

1.Wipe the test object clean, and handle it gently when using the micrometer;

2.Loosen the micrometer locking device, calibrate the zero position, and turn the knob to make the distance between the measuring anvil and the micrometer screw slightly larger than the measured object;

3.Hold the micrometer ruler with one hand, place the object to be measured between the anvil and the end of the micrometer screw, and turn the knob with the other hand. When the screw is close to the object, turn the force measuring device until you hear a click. Gently turn 0.5 ~ 1 circle;

4.Tighten the locking device and you can read it.

2) Wipe the measuring anvil and differential cylinder clean to avoid the influence of chip powder and dust

3) Separate the measuring anvil and tighten the fixing screws to avoid rusting due to prolonged contact.

Answer:	I don't have the tool with me right now but my memory is that the length of the tool it is about 4 inches long.

Answer:	I doubt that I have anything that thin to measure that would be exacting enough to put great credence in. But I did mike a .0015 feeler gauge to be .0016 so it would appear to be within .0001 for things in that vicinity.

Answer:	These do NOT have a vernier scale on the barrel. The graduations on the barrel only read in thou increments. There is no vernier scale that will measure to the full capability of the digital read out. IE if you want to accurately measure tenths, you'll need to use the digital read out.
Question:	Without getting into an accuacy/precision discussion, to what accuracy does this tool measure .0001 inch
Answer:	not that i'm aware of you will have to by an inside mic. A 6 or 8 inch pair of verniers will be your best bet to buy. with those you could use for id or od measurements just not as accurate as this mic but within .001 thousands

Answer:	I am not sure, but I think it has to do with the tightness on one of the winch bolts. I believe I just turn the handle backwards to reverse it. It has been awhile since I used it. I know I had the same question when I bought it.

Answer:	Yes it shouldn’t have any trouble lifting that and clearing the bed of the truck. I was skeptical because of the price, but it’s stout. I’ve lifted a couple 200 lb whitetail and a generator that was probably close to that weight or more. Real back saver.
