Question:	Can i reset the comfort range? 79 degrees f is much too high to be comfortable imo
Answer:	Actually the temp does have a bearing on the comfort indicator as amorina states. It will need to be a minimum of 20 degrees and between 50 and 70% humidity to indicate as comfortable. I agree with you that this is a little high and perhaps 18 would be ok. Other sources state that 40% humidity is ideal so who knows!I think just go with what feels right. In answer to your question though unfortunately the comfort range can not be reset or altered.

Answer:	In China. I bought 3 of them, but don't find them useful. The setting for humid, dry, comfort is inaccurate for a relativity level reading in a home environment. At least in the Midwest region. They say 49% is dry when in fact it's too much for a home to carry, at least in the winter colder temps.

Answer:	This is probably too late to be of use to the original poster, but maybe it will help someone. I purchased mine in March of '17 and the unit just died on me this past weekend, I was still using the original battery. I changed the battery and the thermometer was still dead, but that's less than $10 for nearly 2 years of service on a single battery.

Answer:	Calibrate means that you adjust your measuring tool (e.g. thermometer, hygrometer, speedometer, etc.) to give a known value when it's measuring (detecting) that value; you usually do this by adjusting a screw or other mechanism that results in the unit showing a 'reading', or measurement, of that known value on its display or output. This unit does NOT have any calibration adjustment.

Answer:	Nathan, Thanks for the question. The Moisture Range on this Hand Held meter for CORN is 10 - 40%. However, the clear plastic funnel which is provided to assist with consistent filling of the test cell, will not work well on corn over say 25 - 30%. This is due to the lack of flowability in the higher moisture content. I would suggest that you still fill the funnel, but pour the sample back out the large end at just 1 - 2" above the test cell. EVERY TIME and at the same Rate. With this consistency, you would have much greater repeatability between different tests. Answer:	Not on the standard instrument, but YES, Long Grain and Medium Grain Rough Rice have recently been added to the available Calibration list. Answer:	No, it's made to snap into a panel cutout. Also, I don't know really how much I'd rely on the numbers. I use it to gauge the temp in my office and mostly I compare the differences form day to day as opposed to knowing exactly what the temp is.

Question:	Does the HIGH/LOW reset automatically? I need one that doesn't reset until I reset it
Answer:	It uses three 12 hour time blocks (36 total hours) per the 7/19/16 response and automatically resets. This screws up being able to determine the 24 hour hi-lo I was used to with another model. I much prefer the one that auto resets every 24 hours from battery insertion. On the latter, by inserting the batteries at midnight, a daily hi-lo was always available. With the 36 hour look-back this daily Hi-Lo feature is totally useless IMO.

Answer:	You might want to check out my review of this product (written 11/17/15). I bought 3 of these, compared them to each other for accuracy in temp and humidity and gave detailed results. Overall summary is, 2 of the units were pretty good with both humidity & temp accuracy (most likely acceptable for most people's use), the 3rd monitor was not. It's a crap shoot as far as getting one that's in the satisfactory range of accuracy for both readings, I think.

Answer:	The first part of your question is yes, it records the current temperature. The answer to the second part is no, it only gives the current temperature of the location it is placed; i.e., bedroom, den, bathroom, outside etc. It also gives the humidity.

Answer:	Just got mine and the humidity reads 7-10% low. I did the salt water calibration test twice and it never got over 65%. The hygrometer is useless.

Answer:	No, it does not. I find it to be quite accurate, though! I would imagine that you could just remove the battery and re-insert it to recalibrate. But manually, no calibration feature. I have baseboard heat with no thermostat so this really helps me know room temperature and humidity. Good product!

Answer:	Wink does recognize some multisensors. I am running a Wink 2 hub and have connected some non-certified sensors, both ZigBee and ZWave. I have not tried these sensors. The Wink system is very simple and I have replaced my Casa Verde with the Wink (I was using both and Casa Verde had a plug in that worked with the WInk hub as well.
Question:	How fast should humidity reflect reality? Took a shower 40 minutes ago, humidity is normal in bathroom now, and device just reported it is still
Answer:	Depending on the reporting threshold you have set for the sensor, it would change as fast as 3 minutes after the threshold is met. So if humidity threshold is left at the default 10%, it will need to decrease by 10% or more for the sensor to report the change. If it only changed by 9%, it won't be reported so if you're looking to monitor humidity closely, we recommend changing the reporting threshold for humidity to 2-3% for more frequent reports.
Question:	Does this also work as a z-wave range extender
Answer:	Battery operated devices, such as this, will not work as a range extender since the radio is off most of the time or turns on and off.
Question:	Can this be used outside
Answer:	I've been using mine outdoors. Mine is mounted high under the cover of the front porch and I use it to notify of outdoor activity and to turn on the outside lights at night when there is motion. This motion sensor is slow to respond, day or night, if it responds at all. I have the same issue with the other two that I use indoors in bathrooms.

The Airthings Wave 2nd Generation is a smart radon detector providing accurate continuous and long-term results straight to your smartphone. Replacing single-use radon test kits, this digital radon monitor shows daily, weekly, monthly and yearly measurements in the free mobile app. Use the data to protect your home and loved ones from the dangers of radon gas and make sure radon levels stay low. In order for a radon monitor to be approved by the AARST you need take a high amount of radon "counts" per hour within a specific time-frame usually (48-72 hours) which are done for real estate transactions. The Wave does not meet these requirements, it is designed for very accurate long-term measurements to give you a broader understanding of what your radon exposure is over the period time and not just a snapshot. However Airthings does have a monitor that does meet these requirements, our Corentium Pro. The Corentium Pro is fully AARST-NRPP certified and used and trusted by thousands of radon mitigators and house inspectors. Question:	Is the hub required to connect with Alexa or other platforms
Answer:	You can use the Wave in 2 ways: 1. With Bluetooth: all that is required is to download the Airthings app (iOS or Android) and the app will obtain the measurement data using Bluetooth 2. With an Airthings Hub: the Hub is connected to a power source and Ethernet. It will automatically connect to your Wave using SmartLink and keep your data always up to date so you don't have to use Bluetooth. The Wave can connect to Amazon Alexa, with or without the use of an Airthings Hub - however, the experience is enhanced with use of an Airthings Hub as the measurement data is constantly up to date. Question:	What is the difference of gen 1 (which cost more) vs gen 2 which cost less? thanks steve
Answer:	The difference between the Wave 1st generation and Wave 2nd generation are that the Wave 1st generation provides measurements for radon, temperature, and humidity every hour. The Wave 1st generation is also not equipped with SmartLink which allows you to connected with the Airthings Hub to allow you to always be connected to your monitor. The Wave 2nd generation is much more similar to our Wave Plus under the hood with the firmware and is compatible with the Airthings Hub. The Wave 2nd generation provides a rolling 24 hour radon measurement every hour and the temperature and humidity are updated every 5 minutes. Question:	I have a mountain cabin and have no internet, by design! Will this thing work with my smartphone w/o being also connected to the internet
Answer:	Hi there - thanks for your question! This is the way it works: 1. you have to connect to the Wave via Bluetooth with a mobile phone or tablet. Bluetooth connections normally require you to be within approx. 30 ft of the device, and then you can view your up to date data in the app. 2. Once the data has been synced via Bluetooth and you have internet connection, the data will be further pushed to the cloud, enabling you to see your data on the online dashboard. So if you have your Wave in the cabin, you can sync via Bluetooth on your phone, and use your phone's internet connection to push to the cloud if you like! Answer:	In regard to the 01024M unit. The outdoor temperature sensor is housed in the 5-in-1 PRO+ There is not a separate temp sensor to mount elsewhere.
