The skeleton model is a detailed natural cast of an adult human skeleton. The size and shape corresponds to a real human skeleton. The model is anatomically correct. All over 200 bones, anatomical details and structures are represented. The joints are movable. Arms and legs can be removed easily via simple screw connections. The mobility of the hands/fingers are made possible by wire connections. The skull is also removable and consists of the base of skull, Calvarium, jaw (on spring). Answer:	Depends on the router, it is soft brass and can be annealed to be softer. With a slow enough feed rate and keeping the bit speed up, most routers shouldn't have an issue. I have machined it on my mill and keeping the feed rates slow can do a .125 depth of cut in one pass with a new cutter.

Answer:	Yes, the skull opens, but inside the cranial bones are barely distinctive and only lightly outlined. The facial bones cannot be seen from the inside. This model is very durable and helpful for bone overview & study, not to study grooves and details. However, the more detailed the model, the more expensive. I used this model and drew details on it myself, helped me study!

Answer:	Yes, The one I purchased, has been sitting in cars, living room chairs, if the motion capability is much too limited; you always loosen the brass twist-on screws which keep the legs in their hip sockets. How’s that sound?!
