Question:	How long is the film roll
Answer:	75 gauge polyolefin, FDA approved for direct food contact, will work well for your frozen foods (we have many customers using it for frozen pizza, meats etc) and will also allow the scent of your soaps to pass through the film, so your customers need not jam the bars up their nose (ewww!) to smell the fragrance, as they are typically wont to do! Just for the asking, you can have an 18", 500 foot roll included with your system.
Question:	I will be using it for soap and food for the freezer what gauge do I need
Answer:	Typically, when you can only wrap a single item at a time (unlike soap, or DVD's) you want to use as much of the WIDTH of the roll, and as little of the length...so in this case, we take the width of the item, 16, and add HALF the height, 2.5, for a total of 18.5, rounded up to the next even number, this comes to 20", then allow 2" for the seal (the 1.5" left from 20" might work, but you'll have to position the wand SO precisley, the value of the time it will take is not worth the cost of the wasted inch or so of film.So, the 24" system will work fine. If you choose to order a larger, more economical roll than a 500' roll, in the future, you could get away with a 22" roll. The film you want to use is Polyolefin. It's FDA approved for direct food contact.If your trays are thin, and could be bent (by the force of the shrinking film) easily...go for 60 gauge Poly. It's thin, easy to cut and seal, and quick to shrink. If your trays are RIGID, or you want/need more strength, for shipping or general mishandling, 75 gauge would be stronger...t takes a little more effort to cut and seal, and takes a bit longer to shrink, but your payback is measured by the extra strebgth and opuncture resistence of the film. If the tray is going inside a box, the thinnest film should suffice. If they'll be stacked...go with the thicker 75 gauge. No difference in price. If you do decide to place an order... PLEASE...indicate your selection SOMEWHERE in the order. Question:	How much do they shrink
Answer:	They are fine, I purchased these recently to wrap some soaps I made. I don’t know how to tell the gauge, but no they are not yellow. All 500 in a stack has a slight yellow tint to it, but individually they are crystal clear

Answer:	I dont see why it wouldn't work. As long as the mason jar fits into this size bag it should seal nicely. I use scotch tape to secure the opening before I use the heat gun on it. If you have any other questions please let me know.

Answer:	I need the very same question answered. After cutting bag, do I need a heat gun to fit it soaps and bath bombs tightly?

Answer:	12" is the size of the sealing bar. I think they might work but I never try the bag that size.

Answer:	While I am not familiar with this product, if you think it seals with heat, I wouldn't see why not. The Bag Sealer has a temperature adjustment dial that allows you to adjust for more sensitive plastic films or heavier duty plastics. You can also physically adjust the time the heat is applied by holding the handle down longer or shorter amounts of time. So the bag sealer should cover a wide range of applications successfully.
Question:	Will this work on Polyolefin (smell through) shrink wrap bags for CP soap
Answer:	Not sure what you mean by a vent, but it has one open side to put items in which needs to be sealed before you can shrink it with a heat gun.

Answer:	Yes it will, but only if you are very careful. You'll have to experiment to get it just right because it's very hot and made for more rugged bags. I've used impulse sealers for many years, and I've done it. If you put a sandwich bag in it on the lowest setting and only hold it down for a split second, it will seal. I will also probably cut off the bag at the seal. For this type of bag it's more like cutting by melting, and sealing at the same time. Again, it can be done, but it takes practice, and it is NOT what the sealer is made for (no setting for it).

Answer:	Hi again, I called that same supplier and asked about the 7 mill. mylar bag, she said the thickest it would seal in mylar would be a 6 mill. Hope that helps.

Question:	What Gauge is the product? Will scent come through the plastic after heat wrapped
Answer:	not for food use ! not approved for commercial food packaging!

Answer:	I used these to seal soap bars. You have to insert the item into the bag. One end is open at this point, and you need a heat sealer to close this end. It is very easy and cheap to buy on amazon. After this, use a heat gun or even a hair dryer might work to shrink the bag around the item tightly. I thought these were great for what I needed! Just would recommend low heat for the cookies. But i think it would be doable.
Question:	Can I use these to seal decorated sugar cookies
Answer:	This self seals to itself when you use the heat gun in it.
Question:	How do I seal it to heat shrink
Answer:	Not sure. But keep in mind, the sealer was designed to use the smaller one. A wider strip would require more to heat it up. Be mindful of the mechanical / electrical parts getting too hot. It may be fine with cool down periods or it may fry it. Check the manufacturer would be my guess
