We cannot speak to any specific individual and their capabilities, but this is a "typical" safety seal and if they can see to find the station and have no one else assisting them, a person with adequate hand strength could quickly remove the seal and twist the top off. It is, of course, important that the seal be left on until the time of use to insure sterility / that the bottle has not been opened or used by someone else.

Answer:	The Eyewash can be used as first aid solution in cases of mild acids that have a ph between 6.3 to 6.9. However in the case of severe acid/chemical burns the efficacy of Eyewash has not been proven and it is highly advisable to contact a doctor/emergency center in those instances.

Answer:	Amazingly I just purchased replacement bottles on Amazon today. Mine are the 32oz size which were a little expensive, but if it’s a fluid that my staff is putting in their eyes, I would want that safety.

Question:	Does this product contain benzalkonium chloride? (my eyes get red and blur when i use it in some eye washes that contain it
Answer:	That's not listed on the bottle. Main ingredient is 98.3% purified water and inactive ingredients are boric acid, sodium borate and sodium chloride but no percentages are listed for those. I like the product and it works wonderfully to relieve allergic itching in my eyes. Not expensive and it's a large bottle 32 fl oz.
Question:	Is it single use or re-usable
Answer:	The ones I received did have a screw off lid, however to be sterile - they are designed with the intent of single use as an emergency eye was. I have found typically in an emergency eyewash situation, most of the liquid is used anyways.

Answer:	Hello,Since this is shipped and sold from Amazon, only they can truly know the expiration date of the product they will send you. It will be approximately 18 months dating, but possible more, i.e. it could have 20, or 22 months dating, or even 24.

Question:	Is this product osha approved
Answer:	If you read the OSHA standards, in section '1910.151 - Requirements for eyewash stations' and the adjoining "Standard INTERPRETATIONS", it specifically notes that: "OSHA cannot, of course, approve or endorse particular products." They have legally not done so for many reasons. So in theory, no OSHA does not formally 'approve' this product. But based on the standard found in 1910.151(c) -"Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body shall be provided within the work area for immediate emergency use.", then this product is technically "acceptable" by OSHA standards.
Question:	How often does the water need to be changed
Answer:	I believe there is a one year expiration date on these units. They do need to be mounted somewhere where they don't get jostled, as they will splash water out and eventuially empty (such as a door).

Answer:	I have this item in use in a handful of training facilities and the only one that needed replacement was the one we dropped onto the floor. The saline solution is not plain water and I believe it comes in replacement packs.

Question:	Is this like a one time use bottle? Does it come with little cup to fill and place over eye to help get debris out
Answer:	When you unscrew the cap, peel the safety seal off, their is a little hole to control the amount of eye wash coming out of the bottle. These large bottles are made for flushing your eyes should you splash some liquid in them. It's not safe to use an eye cup for something that is splashed in the eye, it won't dilute it properly.
Question:	The Specs section states Material Type: water, product is described as "sterile isotonic buffered solution" is that just a fancy name for water
Answer:	pH neutral water. They take out all the things that give water taste that could potentially be bad for the eye. Fancy water. lol

Answer:	The pac-kit comes from Connecticut and the eye solution is manufactured in Canada.
