Answer:	I'm not sure but I use a ⅝" Chicago shackle that I use it with and it fits in there with room. I would say 3/4" hole maybe.

Answer:	I put the XD9000 on a 2000 Land Cruiser. Luckily haven't had to use it much. It didn't have any problems pulling a Cherokee out of a snow bank. I'd say it's fine for your pickup.

Answer:	I've looked into it, you can move the solenoid if needed. My solution is to have a winch cover for when it's not in used to prevent moisture build up inside of the solenoid. If you do move the box, I'd say move it into the engine bay but then you'd need more line etc.
