Answer:	Hi. Yes, the rotation motor can be mounted on either side of the tank. This record cleaning machine, by the way, is one of the most judicious purchases I have ever made. I researched it thoroughly before spending the money. It is extremely effective at removing particles from grooves and at making LPs look beautiful. God bless.
Question:	how fast do the records rotate? Will it harm the motor to use a voltage regulator(PWM) to slow record rotation
Answer:	5RPM. It works perfectly fine with this speed. You might have read somewhere that lower speed is required. Lower speed may work better if the ultrasonic cleaner is weak in cleaning power. Ours is very powerful so you don’t need lower speed which will slow down the process. This speed has been proven to be good by all of our customers as nobody has complained about the cleaning results.
Question:	Can the cleaning solution used on 45 and 33 rpm also be used on 78 rpm records
Answer:	Yes
Question:	is any surfactant needed like the Kirmuss
Answer:	Tap or distilled water alone can be used if the records only have dry particle type of debris. If there are oily smudges, finger prints etc. then a good cleaning solution is needed. A 8-OZ bottle of cleaning solution concentrate is included in the package. Only 1-2 caps-full are typically needed. The base machine is the same as Kirmuss uses. The main difference is how the records are handled. Either 5 or 10 records can be cleaned at the same time, and it could be a random mix of 10“ and 12" records. 7" may be cleaned as well with a spindle adapter. Lable protectors are provided to protect the label areas against dripping water.

Answer:	I doubt it I already had a 6.5 L Ultra sonic tank cleaner that was just wide enough at the top . My 6.5 L has a 6" x 12.75 " opening at the top and 5.5" deep , if your 3 L was 3 " by 12.5 " opening at the top and about 5" deep it probably could be used (?).

Answer:	Don't be cheap. Throw it away when you are finished. Too much debris in the water settles on the bottom and makes it difficult to get rid of.
