Answer:	Polymer should be fine (I've done it myself), but in using this device to clean my HK USP 45 using Lucas bore cleaner, it basically made the rubber O-ring disappear. The Polymer was fine, however. So I had to order a new rubber o-ring. No biggie. Bottom line: Polymer is fine. Rubber is a no-no. Remove your O-ring but don't worry about your polymer frame. Answer:	You would need to use electrolysis to remove rust. I build engines and use this machine for just about everything I can think of except injectors which have their own machine. I use Alconox as a cleaner and have had no issue or complaint. If you intend to use the heaters and run the machine often I would recommend using hot water instead of cold to help prolong the life of the heating elements.

Answer:	Depending on the acidity of the sparkling water (they vary from approximately 3-4pH) it would take about 1/2 ounce of concentrate to bring the pH up to just neutral (7pH) in a 12 ounce can. If using the original/unflavored version of the concentrate in a flavored water you might not be able to taste it or it might taste metallic or fishy because that 1/2 ounce would normally go into 16 ounces of regular water, creating 11pH. If you use a flavored/sweetened version it might be overly sweet.
