| Answer: | While I've only used it with syringes, I have in the past used ultra fine pen needles and can't imagine why it wouldn't work with those, too. It's quite a nifty little device and definitely one of the less expensive and easier options for safe disposal. |

| Answer: | Clip the needle the syringe goes in the garbage. So far have not filled up the needle holder. Once that is full take to your dr office and they will discard in their bin. |

| Answer: | My needles are 5/16 of an inch and it cuts them almost all the way off. So I imagine using this with 1-inch needles would definitely cut off the tip and more but leave quite a bit of the needle remaining. It works well and is very easy to use |
