Answer:	I had used this with some warm fluids and they responded well, the plastic didnt loose its clarity neither it got soft; that said, I would not recomend to use this for direct heating or exothermic reactions, mainly for safety concerns. If it helps to say it, remember that any plastic could resist a gentle warmup by water bath, so if your not planning to do heavy heating, you might as well try this beakers out and see..

Answer:	They have numbers, though not on every line. For example, the 1L cylinder has numbers in 100 mL increments, with blank lines in between. The markings are quite durable, being in both raised plastic, and painted in blue -- and the blue paint hasn't worn off yet in several months of hard play by young boys.
