Answer:	I just went out to the shop and measured the cord. From the far tip of the prongs of the plug to where the cord goes into the vacuum is a total of 65 inches. Hope this helps you. It is a wonderful vacuum!!!!!

Answer:	yes it will work on saw dust and the hose is 30 feet long which works well at 30 feet I love mine for the garage, a lot of people said that it didn't have enough sucton at 30 feet but I have no problem with that, would recommend this product.

Question:	How much noise in decibels does this make
Answer:	Sorry, but there is no way my vac is 58 db's. That is relatively quiet. This vac is anything but quiet. It has an ear-piercing whine on start up and shut down. It might be 58Db's at the other end of my house, with the garage door shut. It's a nice vac, but noise is not its strong suit. I ordered a sound meter simply to answer this question. I got 94-96db continuous, 101 db max at about 5 feet distance.

Answer:	I have this vacuum unit attached to my Shopfox table saw and its powerful enough to clear away the dust generated. But I had to eventually attach it with a dust cyclon because the vacuum cleaner would become full very quickly. At 82 decibels it sounds like...well a vacuum cleaner. Nevertheless I really like this unit and it will do the job of clearing your table saw, but I'm still looking for another unit for my overall dust collection system to use with other tools in my shop...through a set of PVC pipes. But I'm definitely going to keep this unit just because of the powerful blower it has on the other end, which works extremely well blowing out dust in tools and blowing away dust off the shop floor.

Answer:	It appears to be 1-3/4" hose and I had to buy several different adapters before getting it to hook up to all of my 2" dust machines, but it is all worth it. This little Vacuum is small and only 5 amp motor but it is very quiet and does a great job of collecting all dust from my 10" table saw and sliding compound miter saw.

Answer:	The manufacturer web site recommends the large bag, which is wrong. I called them and they are going to correct the error. The correct Vacmaster bag is the 5-6 gallon VHBS or VDBS. They work fine in my Beast.

I used the paper bag when I was cleaning up drywall remnants and dust. It worked great! I loved the vac no matter how much drywall dust and debris I subjected it to it always kept its power.

Answer:	Aqueon hang on filters use a filter cartridge with carbon. Sponge pads are used as mechanical filters and biological filters. They would not replace the need for activated carbon in you filter. If you already have the carbon issue figured out, then for the clearest aquarium water use our 40 PPI sponge pad. The 40 ppi will trap a ton more debris then a 20 ppi sponge pad meaning the pad will clog up much quicker and need to be rinsed out or occasionally replaced. - Lexi M at Aquatic Experts
