Answer:	I believe the rectangular floor tool covered with microfiber would be better and would work well. It's thin and lightweight and has a fully articulating head which I think would be better for reaching overhead. This model produces a dryer steam at a higher pressure than most models which seems preferable on ceilings, since they're often painted with a very flat finish ceiling paint which offers no protection from moisture to the drywall.
Question:	Can you use detergent of your choice (Dawn &/or Pine Sol
Answer:	Although you might use PineSol, you don't (probably) want to use Dawn... You would have suds for quite a while. These machines work by heating under pressure, so while "normal" water would boil at 212F, in a pressurized boiler, the water in this unit is heated to over 300 degrees. Then it is propelled out where the molecules expand until the temp. drops to the boiling point in the air (212F) where it evaporates or condenses (becoming steam or water). As the temperature decreases to the boiling point, those bubbles are going to increase exponentially. I've never tried this personally, as I wouldn't risk destroying my machine or my floors, but the science says you'd not only have bubbles from the tank of water you intended to make soapy but probably for several tanks after that as ridding the unit of all the Dawn would take more water than a single tank. Several sites, like Autopia.com, discuss the best use of steam cleaners generally and this machine specifically (most of these sites are moderated by people who own detailing shops or other commercial applications). The consensus is that they do NOT recommend using ANY detergent that is run through the machine even though the manufacturers say you can. I'm sure you do need to be careful about what you put in the boiler as the heating element in this unit is really not replaceable without removing the entire boiler unit. While the boiler is covered under warranty, I don't know if that also covers the heating element.

Question:	How hot does this steamer get
Answer:	If you had the funnel inserted such that there was no gap between the sides of the funnel and the tank's fill hole, then the only way for the air that you are displacing with water (inside the tank.) So the bubbles are the air escaping the tank to allow room for the water you're adding. If this is the case, simply lift the funnel slightly to create a gap that allows for the air to escape around the funnel, rather than through it. I'm not saying you have to remove the spout of the funnel from being within the tank, just lift or tilt it in a manner that allows air to escape through a different path.
Question:	Can it be used on walls
Answer:	Yes, bedbugs have a relatively low thermal death point of just 120ish degrees. The 200+ degree temps of steam are more than sufficient. The key however, is to slowly move the nozzle across any cracks as the steam cools quickly within a few inches of the nozzle. I used steam in conjuction with temprid sc, and finally a good dusting of diatomaceous earth to kill off an infestation that came over from another apartment.
Question:	Will this work well on pillows, for dust mites
Answer:	The primary difference (and advantage) is the 1385's larger boiler, 64oz verses the 48oz of the 1375. The amount of water boiling determines the steady flow of steam you get. So while either model will operate at 4 bar/58psi, you can run steadily at a higher pressure with the boiler of larger capacity. In addition, the 1385 has 23 vs 20 accessories, for what that's worth. Be sure to visit McCulloch's website, it's easy to compare specs of all their models.

Answer:	In the box you will get the mop (which holds the removable water tank), 1 cloth pad to mop floors with, a jet steam nozzle that attaches to the removable water tank which makes the unit a handheld steamer, a flexible hose to add the attachments to, a small handheld attachment with a terry cloth type of pad to steam things such as windows, and lastly a water cup to easily fill the water reservoir. And FYI- my mop came with a card that states if I left a review on Amazon and send them the link of the review and my mailing address, they would send 2 additional pads (free of charge, along with free shipping) used to clean the floor. Question:	will it remove hard soap scum from acrylic shower base
Answer:	I have not used the steam cleaner on our acrylic shower base because I use a different cleaner on it have scum. However, I will tell you this: My husband, who works in the medical field and has the cleanest hands anyone could have, manages to open our fairly new refrigerator at least 10-15 x a day and each time, he leaves sticky handles on the french doors and 2 freezer compartments. I feel I do nothing 5 days a week before he works and after he comes home and both Sat & Sun but try to wipe whatever invisible sticky stuff he leaves on them and NEVER get it off. It's unbelievable!!! I used the steam cleaner on the entire outside of the refrigerator yesterday and that thing is pristine and there is no evidence of anything sticky. I also steamed the inside of every rubber door lining, and I did the microwave. I am in HEAVEN! Now I know, if necessary, I can get keep the refrigerator doors slick and clean every day and my marriage will be saved, especially when he retires in 4 yrs when I might have to kill him when he starts cooking more frequently.

Question:	How does this compare to the Rug Doctor
Answer:	My last Bissell lasted TWELVE years. I shampoo carpets 2-4 times a month (no choice-kids!). I borrowed a brand new Rug Doctor before I bought this Bissell. There is no comparison. This is better than Rug Doctor in EVERY way. Cleans so much better, works in BOTH directions (why RG doesn't do this is beyond me!). The tanks are H.U.G.E., so you're not constantly dumping and refilling. These carpets are cleaner than ever! With every other machine, I have had to use a homemade solution (with 1.5 cups of bleach per gallon), or my carpets wouldn't come clean. The Bissell Professional solution is all I need with this machine-I can't say enough how you will NOT find a better cleaner for this kind of money!

Answer:	helloMy research before I purchased the 86t3, trying to see what the difference was. This is what I found the 10N2 has a commercial warranty. When I look at the parts list for both machines. The 86t3comes with a hose kit which plugs into the top of the machine and allows you to do stairs and furniture, etc. The 10n2 does not come with the hose kit standard equipment. Other than that the parts list for both machines are identical. I bought the 86T3and it works very well. I can only assume that there would not be a difference in their performance.

Answer:	My dog is 12 yrs old and going through this stage, this thing ALWAYS gets the WORST of the stains and smells out. I also (just me, don't do this if your afraid of voiding a warranty or something) but I add a few drops of tea tree oil or peppermint oil to my water, shampoo mix and it always smells AMAZING for days after!! Plus both of those oils are natural flea and tick repellents (we live in the country) so that's how I clean mine. This machine has gotten every stain out I've had, except acrylic paints 😳 But it made them look somewhat better. Lol!! 3 kids and 2 dogs it's bound to happen.

Answer:	I have been comparing them to decide which one I want, this one (hoover Power Scrub) has automatic mixing of the detergent solution and the water, so you can choose a water only (rinse) or water with cleaning solution. The SteamVac, you must mix the solution in the water tank, so in order to rinse you would have to completely empty out the clean tank and then add just water. The power scrub only turns off the scrub brushes when the handle is in the upright and locked position. The scrub brushes on the SteamVac can be adjusted for gentle, normal, and off. They both use heated air on the dry (suction) strokes to help with drying. It looks like the SteamVac might be a little cheaper but then it doesn't come with all the attachments the power Scrub does. In fact it is a little vague on which attachments come with it. I checked the owners manual for both of these for this information. The Power Scrub is about 2 pounds lighter than the SteamVac. The assembly of the SteamVac seems a lot more involved. I think I am about sold on the Hoover Power Scrb Deluxe carpet cleaner.
Question:	can the brushes be shut off
Answer:	There is a rubber flap on the back of the dirty water tank. If you open that, it breaks the airflow that drives the brushes. It won't pick up liquid while the flap is open though, so I spray and scrub with it open, then seal the flap to extract liquid. I'm not sure if that is the purpose of the flap, but it works.
Question:	Do i have to rinse after i shampoo? seems like an annoying extra step. never had a carpet cleaner that did that
Answer:	If you think of shampooing your carpet like shampooing your hair, it makes sense to rinse. Adding shampoo to you hair and then stepping out of the shower might make your hair clean, but it's not going to be soft. Long ago (LONG ago) when I shampoo'd carpets as part of my job, we were taught to think of it as hair: (a) Lay down a bit of water first; (b) apply shampoo; (c) rinse it out. If the carpeted area was heavy traffic, do just like the shampoo bottle says -- apply a second bit of shampoo, work it in, and then rinse it out. Over the years I've ALWAYS done that when cleaning my own 2500 sq feet of WHITE carpet in my house, and it always comes out fluffy, soft, and white. Even with several black dogs.
Question:	Would you recommend for pet owners? I have 4 pets and wonder if the pieces are easy enough to take apart to remove hair that will surely accumulate
Answer:	This was my first scrubber for carpets. I broke my ankle soon after I got it, so I only got to use it 3 times. I thought it did a good job on open areas. I did not like how it did close to the edges of the carpet where it meets the wall. I used it on steps and it did fine. One thing I remember is hold the dirty water container tightly when you go to empty it or the dirty water can spill out all over your work that you've done. Once you have figured out how to assemble and take apart, it is fairly easy then. I liked the fact that it gets the water up fairly well. For the money, I am happy with it, I have two cats. Must mention it takes some strength to work on steps and edges, as I used a large toothbrush. But the latter doesn't have anything to do with the animals, I was just giving you my opin of the machine.

Question:	will it kill bed bugs
Answer:	Never had bed bugs but it certainly killed fleas in my house. I would say yes, the steam is hot enough to kill anything like a bed bug. You have to give the machine proper time to warm up and using distilled water is the key to making sure the unit doesn't have problems and holds up for a long time.
Question:	Does it clean carpets
Answer:	Have not used it to clean the full carpet but have used for spot and used it to removed large area of wax. I will be using it to clean a small bedroom carpet and seats in my car.
Question:	Does this unit have a low water warning light or shutoff
Answer:	When the water gets too low, it ceases to hold pressure high enough to create steam. The indication on the pressure light gets lower (below 2), but you will also notice that the sound has changed. It is obvious when more water is needed.
Question:	What is the difference between the 1375 and the 1275? Thanks
Answer:	1375 - 90 mins of steam and 20 accessories, 1275 - 45mins of steam and 18 accessories. Biggest difference is the 1275 has no variable control on the steam pressure output to the hand nozzle, where the 1375 has a variable control to adjust the steam pressure depending on cleaning job you are tackling.

Question:	The primary reason for my buying this machine is to clean the grout in my tile floors. How well does it do that
Answer:	That is why l purchased it. For the same amount or less you can have them professionaly cleaned and sealed, I did and they are perfect. the steamer has a small attachment which blasts the grout seams but you still need to pick up the dirty water and dry each time you clean or your just fighting it over and over.
Question:	Can this be used on any materials? Carpets, rugs, leather, etc. Has it ruined anything or caused any damage
Answer:	This would seem to be better asked directly to the manufacturer. My first guess is that steam would not be good for leather, but some of this is just common sense. I assume there is also a user manual?
Question:	Is this unit made in China
Answer:	Absolutely not. It is Italian made and the company is well established with a good track record. I've owned my unit for several years. It works great. FYI, the heating element is replaceable and has a lifetime warranty. If you use distilled water you won't have to descale the tank. I honestly suspect I will be passing this device on to a family member as part of their inheritance.
Question:	Anyone has had this for more than a year without problems
Answer:	Problems here, product blows water and could not warm up my hand from 6 inches. Customer service says that that is protocol and the steam cools upon contact with air. hmmmm 0/10 rating, rather use a bucket of warm water esp for 1K
