| Answer: | I have a nominally-sized 24" x 33" version of this mat. It actually measure about 23" x 32". The actual padded area is about 15" x 26". An approx. 4" border on all sides provides a more gradual transition from the floor to the top of the mat to reduce the risk of tripping on the mat.The mat is extremely comfortable and durable. I highly recommend it. The padded area is significantly smaller than the stated mat size, however, so take that into account when selecting a size. |

| Answer: | I do use it for my 4 legged friend but not in her kennel; I just keep it on the patio and she lays on it all the time. She isn't a chewer so I can't give a for-sure answer on that. It is soft and pliable so I think a determined dog could destroy it but since it made to be walked on maybe not. Sorry I can't be more helpful about that. It has a textured surface but it's not at all abrasive. |
