Answer:	The description says 6 but I think the price is way to low for 6 and too high for one. Try going to the manufacturer web site and see if the same product is listed there. If it is 6, it is a very good deal.

Question:	what is the base made of
Answer:	It is plastic, but it has the look of porcelain. It really doesn't look plastic-y or cheap. There is a soft backing underneath so it won't scratch your dresser.
Question:	How many long necklaces does this comfortably hold
Answer:	I currently keep my bead necklaces on it and there are 12 right now.....most are large "chunky" beaded pieces and one is a small beaded strand that is very long (I double loop that one on the top tier) still room for more! Love mine!
Question:	Is this stand smooth enough to use with scarves? Does it have rough parts that would snag the scarves
Answer:	Yes it is smooth but designed for jewelry- I'm not sure scarves would fit

Answer:	Yes you sure can,its perfect for large,medium and short necklaces thats how i have mine organized ! The second one is like 14" maybe its not an exact number but you can have an idea :)

Answer:	No such thing as to thick for drilling. Depends on your drill bit, some cutting oil, and your determination
Question:	How much weight can safely be placed on this shelf? Peg board is secured to 2x4 studs
Answer:	I looked for spec's in the paperwork I have and did not see a weight limit. So I went out to the garage and put a 25 lb dumbbell on it. it's still attached so Im going to say at least 25 lb. I also have the wall control peg board mounted to the studs with 2" deck screws, just keep in mind that it only works with the wall control system as it wont fit in a standard round hole peg board.

Question:	Will 2 of these fit side by side on a 32” x 16” horizontal board? Says each shelf is 16” but unsure if 2 of them side by side would fit the 32” board
Answer:	I have the back peg board https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AMLEN5U/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and two of the shelves and yes, they will fit side by side though I have one on one top corner and the other on a lower corner, but yes, they will fit side by side.

Answer:	Probably not, it would hold only 2 candy bars per slot, possibly only one (not very deep slots) I use it to display little eyeshadow containers that are about 1 1/2" x 2"
