Answer:	Maybe this will help.... I placed mine on the back of my shower inside the shower. It's not glass, but it is a material that cannot have holes drilled through. I mounted it just with the suction. But after 3-4 days, it came undone and fell. The company does give another option, which I have to try yet. There comes included with the product a circular adhesive pad. I haven't had a chance to remount the bar yet; but I have confidence that it will work. At least, I hope so. I thought maybe I didn't wet the back of the suction enough, or the steam from the shower loosened it. Still working it; but still like the product.

Answer:	The suction cups work best on a flat surface. If you have tile, glass or a surface that is not flat/imperfect, then you attach the adhesive to the uneven surface. Answer:	What kind of surface did you previously use? I have had no problems with mine and I’m using them on a glass shower door...

Answer:	Accepting personal subjectivity, it will hold my normal cotton bath towels even if completely saturated. These are well-made and almost surprisingly strong. The key is the surface it's stuck to: mine is a standard smooth 1/2 thick bath enclosure. The area you want to attach needs to be very clean - not even soap scum or hard water splashes. Get it clean then wipe down with white vinegar (don't mix, rinse sponge clean with water or use a separate rag). This is just the 2 sq inches where it will mount. Cleaned properly these will adhere well to tile (big though, it won't hold across grout lines) or smooth glass. Finally, whatever it's stuck to has to be completely anchored and solid. I hope this helps. For the record after moving to optimize placement mine have not failed even once.
Question:	Will this work for granite
Answer:	I don't have any granite, but I think that they would. I have them on shiny ceramic tile, and they have not budged despite daily use. I think that they would work on any smooth surface.

Answer:	I am not sure how helpful this might be, but I had some luck washing the suction cup with warm soap and water to remove any film that might have built up and keeps the hook from adhering to whatever it is that you are trying to sticking it to.
