Answer:	We have plenty of customers that use these terminal blocks in yachts. Although, I believe that many of them are in conditioned air environments. Unlike our "marine" terminal blocks, all of the metal parts are not nickel plated in this kit. So, constant salt water exposure may be detrimental to the lifespan of these blocks. Question:	would you get a secure fit if you were to go down one wire size, say 12 gauge DIN block but use 14 gauge wire
Answer:	12 gauge is the maximum size, not the only size. They will work just fine with 14 gauge. I've used all the way down to 24 gauge without trouble.
