Answer:	No. These come in a box with dividers, and each section is the same size and contains more or less only one size of the tubing. So there are way more of the tiny tubing sizes and relatively few of the large ones. In the box I got the large ones were only black or white. I recall the 6 mm (which is what I used first) had one red but the rest were B&W. The tiny ones came in several colors, mostly black, green, blue, yellow as I recall. I would not expect another box to have the same exact counts as mine did, but perhaps the trend toward B&W in the large tubes is a real one.
Question:	What’s the size for shoes lace? I’m trying to shorten it

Answer:	...which electrical? Automotive ? 12 volt range? Go for it. ...home wiring? 120-240 volts? Should be safe enough, however one does not know what the dielectric strength of the heat shrink is. Answer:	I'd suggest just cutting the cord near where you are trying to repair, sliding the tube on one end of the cut, then splice the wires, slide the tube over the splice and the original damaged area, and shrink it.

Answer:	We went over it lightly with a long lighter to shrink it. a heat gun would work on high. Hair dryer doesn't get hot enough.

Answer:	well of course that depends on the fitting and the diameter of the coax. But a getneral asnswer is yes, some of them will fit and some of them will not. Be careful because the fitting at the end of the coaxial cable, which is what you're probalby trying to splice onto the cable and protect" with this heat shrink may be too large to slide the heat shrink tube over. Be sure to slide the heat shrink tube onto the cable first, before attaching the "fitting."

Answer:	I would't trust it for waterproofing something that has repeated flexing during use unless you took an extra step to seal the cord with silicone seal, then apply the shrink tubing on top.

Answer:	Just use the cars TOUCHUP PAINT & CLEARCOAT all in one like DUPONT! (1/2 & 1/2, 2 sided applicator here on the zon or at any Autozone etc.) Fill the scrape with the paint, then again overnight after it dries/shrinks in. Top off with the clearcoat. Viola! (If ANY rust has developed, use a strong pointy object & place it over some black auto-finishing sandpaper & get it off first, or it WILL spread under the touchup paint! If you really love the car, get it done right by a good body shop for peanuts!)

Answer:	According to X-Treme Tape literature, it won't melt to 500-degrees Farenheit (+260-degrees Celsius, and remains flexible to -60 degrees Farenheit (-50 degrees Celsius), and insulates to 8000 Volts.

Answer:	You'll want to pull to the point where the tape is about half the thickness of it's original width. Just like you would when using it for anything else. As the tape tries to return to it's normal size it forms one solid silicon blob. There is no sticky/chemical/mechanical bond to the pipe and water will find it's way out. This is great for temp fix but you should really do it the right way. Get PVC glue kit and a short length of pipe and do it right. It'll last for ever that way.

Answer:	IMO these terms refer to the cross section, or width of the tape, triangular is tapered from edge to edge so the area overlap when wrapping has a constant thickness. rectangular will be double thickness where the overlap is.

Answer:	Wow....good question. I think that the adhesive stuff would work better, as well as the higher shrink ratio.

Answer:	Thank you for reaching out. No, they don't. First you strip the wire and insert into splice barrel, then you crimp using the tool for heat shrink connectors, finally apply the heat, using the heat gun, while rotating the connector.

Answer:	Not sure exactly what you want to know. They do have a glue that went you heat to shrink the tube it melts and seals both ends. These tubs also stay slightly stiff after shrinking to provide extra strengh to the splice. I have used some shrink wrap tubes that are veey soft so the joint is ot protected from physical damage.

Question:	I don't have a heat gun, can you use a lighter
Answer:	I only use a lighter, usually a classic Bic. They certainly will shrink it, but your concern will be burning it because the flame is much hotter than a heat gun. Instead of how dudetomi does it, which is a pita and gets soot all over it, try this: Put the heat shrink in the base of the flame, which is cooler than the center or tip. Not so close to the lighter that the gas under the tube is not lit. Being cooler it takes longer so it's much easier to shrink the whole tube without burning parts of it. As a bonus, the flame is also going around both sides and shrinks most, if not all, of the tube. That comes on handy if you can't get to the other side, but normally I do one side, then rotate the wire to do the other. Optionally, if you can't rotate the wire but can get the lighter above it, just point the flame down like how you'd light a pipe. I only use the center (brightest) part of the flame if it's a huge thick shrink tube and I actually need that much heat, like maybe 1/2" tube or bigger but for those it's much better to use a torch type lighter. Torch lighters are better on avg so try that if you can. They burn clean but also hotter, so you control the heat by simply giving it short split second blasts of heat. The temp and time needed to shrink tubing varies based on size, type and brand, so whichever lighter and tubing you happen to be using, just practice on one or two pieces and you'll quickly get a feel for how to make it turn out just right. Since heat shrink is usually kinda thin, especially no-name stuff from china, I often put two or three layers on. Like if the wire is 120V I'll usually use three. If it's just speaker wire or a battery powered toy for example then one is likely fine.
