12 best aftermarket furnaces
Aftermarket furnaces, in the context of industrial switches, controls, and indicators, refer to heating systems or equipment that are added or installed after the initial construction or installation of an industrial facility. These furnaces are typically used for various industrial processes and applications, providing controlled heating and temperature management. Here is some information about aftermarket furnaces:
Purpose: Aftermarket furnaces are installed to meet specific heating requirements within industrial settings. They are used for processes such as annealing, tempering, heat treatment, and materials testing, where precise temperature control is essential.
Types of Aftermarket Furnaces:
- Electric Furnaces: These use electric heating elements to generate heat. They offer precise temperature control and are often used in applications where cleanliness and uniform heating are critical.
- Gas Furnaces: Gas-fired furnaces use natural gas or propane as a fuel source. They are commonly used in industrial settings where high temperatures are required, such as metal forging and foundries.
- Induction Furnaces: These furnaces use electromagnetic induction to heat metal objects. They are efficient and provide rapid and precise heating, making them suitable for applications like melting and casting metals.
- Muffle Furnaces: Muffle furnaces have a controlled chamber to protect the contents from contamination or oxidation. They are often used in laboratories and material testing.
Temperature Control: Aftermarket furnaces are equipped with advanced temperature control systems. They may use thermocouples, thermistors, or other sensors to monitor and maintain the desired temperature levels accurately.
Safety Features: Industrial furnaces, including aftermarket ones, are equipped with safety features to prevent overheating, control gas flow, and ensure the safety of the operators and the facility.
Energy Efficiency: Many aftermarket furnaces are designed with energy-efficient features to reduce operating costs. This can include insulation, programmable controllers, and waste heat recovery systems.
Installation: Installing an aftermarket furnace requires careful planning and integration into the existing industrial processes. Professionals typically handle the installation to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintenance: Regular maintenance is crucial to ensure the longevity and efficient operation of aftermarket furnaces. This may involve cleaning, calibrating temperature controls, and replacing worn-out parts.
Regulations and Compliance: Industrial furnaces, including aftermarket ones, are subject to various safety and environmental regulations. Compliance with these regulations is essential to avoid legal and environmental issues.
Customization: Aftermarket furnaces can often be customized to meet the specific needs of an industrial process. This may include modifying heating elements, control systems, or chamber sizes.
In summary, aftermarket furnaces are specialized heating systems used in industrial settings to meet specific temperature control and heating requirements. They come in various types and are essential for a wide range of industrial processes, ensuring precision, efficiency, and safety in temperature-sensitive applications. Proper installation, maintenance, and compliance with regulations are essential aspects of using aftermarket furnaces effectively.

User questions & answers
Question: | you are advertising it as By Rheem but some questioners say it is a Rotom, which is it |
Answer: | We are using this in a 1850sq ft home but have a gas fireplace and only have heating ducts on the ground floor. It does maintain a reasonable 60 degrees when we are away and seems to handle that work load very well. Be aware this is a downdraft furnace amd the actual size of the case was small compared to the removed unit. I had to modify the heat outlet and fresh air inlet duct work to accomodate thr smaller case. |
Question: | Will it work with a rheem criterion ii model number rcba-4882gg24 and serial M |
Answer: | H28 x W33" X D18" |
Question: | I have a 20 year old ruud silhouette ii with an ametek 117023-00 inducer. i will this inducer replace my original |
Answer: | There a quite a few variables that go into proper sizing which can be best answered by a licensed technician, however, 60K is a bit undersized for that large of a home. |
Question: | Will the "Furnace Draft Inducer Blower FB-RFB241" fit a RHEEM model# TG9S100C16MP11A |
Answer: | The "downward" flow is a literal air direction as it leaves the furance. The bottom of the furance is open and meant to be where the unit ties in to your existing heater duct work. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Where are the wires that should be coming from the motor housing ? They are not pictured and the motor housing is welded to the motor |
Answer: | I haven't installed mine yet but I worked installing Lennox heating/cooling systems for 35 years, my old one is still working but occasionally gets noisy, eventually I'll have to change it out, the wires will have a plug to unhook and then plug in the new wires after you install the new one...I believe the new one has 4-6 screws to take out, its a very simple change out...if you get stuck, there is a online step by step on youtube. good luck. |
Question: | where are the wires? Do I have to connect new wires to the inducer |
Answer: | I can't say for sure, the inducer blowers don't change much from year to year, mine is a G26, the G32V was the top of the Lennox line back then, the V was for variable speed fan motor, I would take the number off of this part and call a service department of a Lennox dealer to make sure, |
Question: | Will this work for a 2000 G32V series Lennox furnace |
Answer: | check it against the part numbers lennox is in some cases very spciffic on there parts |
Question: | Will this work on lennox model ml195uh furnace |
Answer: | Yes, this will work! |
