Answer:	My search shows Asian symbols. No vendor will say point of origin. Symbols do not resemble Japanese. So: deductive logic? China, HongKong, Korea

Answer:	The hose is rated at 150 psi on the hose. Whether it will withstand a constant pressure, I'm not sure. I know it is probably the easiest hose to handle and use that I have ever owned, just bought another one. When I used my previous kink less hoses, it was like wrestling with a 20 foot python!! Very happy with these hoses.Very light.

Answer:	The O.D. is 7/8" and the I.D. is about 5/8". The flowrate is a function of the I.D.

Answer:	I didn't hold and check the exact moment but it if your using it with a electric or pneumatic pump you won't notice. With a hand pump it seemed to be around 3-5 static psi. On a large system this may take a moment or two. I opperated a ball valve for the first couple pumps and it engages rather easily.

Answer:	It is designed as a check valve and works very well for that purpose, even with elevated pressures found in typical compressed air systems. Air will only move in one direction through it. Because air tanks can have rust or scaling at times, you could get something under the seat at one time or another. If the tank will be sitting for a bit, it might be a god idea to have a shut off valve also. But then, you might get by without one.

Answer:	It depends on what your system looks like. This will do the job beautifully if you have enough space, but it is pretty big. . .almost a foot long and about 2" across. I use it as part of a system for a small orchard, and it works great there.

Answer:	Most of what I've read and seen have the check valve slightly above ground level. Do your install with a union so that you can remove (i.e., replace) things without having to cut pipe. Remember to drill a small (1/8" or 3/16") in the pipe between the pump and the check valve to prevent airlocks. Drill so that the 'leak' squirts downward! That said, some people argue to put the check valve immediately above the pump (below ground level). Installing just above the pump would minimize the amount of water leaking back into the sump (but we're talking less than a quart, I'd guess.). Mine is installed just above ground level.

Answer:	Not a good idea. 69 psi at what volume? I think the internal components will shread.... all plastic construction looks to be best for low volume and low pressure. I put mine in a line to prevent back siphoning on a drain tube.

Answer:	This unit is small. They have 3/8 fittings for tubing with the inside diameter. If your tubing is that size it will probably work. Check with your local aquarium store.

Answer:	This is intended for liquid I think? They make them for air compressors. This one on Amazon has 3/4 pipe threads. Your air comp uses tubing and it has a nut and ferrel with different (fine) threads is my guess without seeing what you have. I'm thinking you have a large shop or industrial compressor to use a 3/4 pipe in the check valve. Send me a pic if you like and I try help you.

Answer:	No. The valve ending in 005 is for the hot water side and the valve ending in 006 is the cold water side. Either valve can be used on either side but the handle will turn the wrong way if you don't have it on the correct side.

Answer:	Yes, and it also can be mounted at an angle. The plumber that installed mine told me that they are quietest when installed at 45 degrees, with the flap opening up. This valve is almost silent!!
Question:	can I use this valve for injection sewer pump
Answer:	I just received 2 of these valves and as the other answers have stated this valve has disconnect nuts on each end. The 1 1/2 schedule 40 PVC fits inside the couplings and then permanently glued. Having rubber couplings would be more for noise/vibration isolation and not 100% necessary. If the valve had to be replaced in the future , u would be limited to the same valve or require re-configuring the connections for a different style valve. In my opinion it would make sense for the manufacturer to have a 1 1/2 connections already in place on both ends.

Answer:	The two ports are the in and out ports that connect to the pipe.
Question:	Can I install with rubber couplers instead of gluing PVC? This would make replacement easy if necessary in the future
Answer:	You have to clean and glue slip joint side of fitting to 1 1/2" PVC pipe above and below, you then can tighten threaded quick connect part of fitting to check valve. Just remember to correctly measure for distance between glued slip joints, so you can install and remove threaded fittings of check valve if you need to.
