| Answer: | ASE tech here, these are designed for plastic lines, if you don't do anything to these fitting and put rubber hose on them, it would eventually start chafing from the inside and would crack the hose at the fitting over time because the three barbed ends would cut up the insides of the hose, HOWEVER, if you shave the three barbed ends where the hose would slide onto just a little bit so as not to slice through the hose over time, it works great for rubber hose, I.E. there are vehicles we did this to and are still on the road with no issues for years now. |
