Answer:	We recommend doing so mainly for the conservation of energy. There is no negative effect to the appliance itself if left plugged in just as you would a toaster or coffee maker.
Question:	If I buy this and chip the pot, is there an option to buy just a replacement pot
Answer:	I did search the internet before I bought this rice cooker just in case an accident did happen but I could not find anywhere that sold a replacement pot so I guess my answer would have to be no. I went ahead and bought the cooker because I knew the rice is much tastier than in a metal pot. I am just very careful when washing it and am extra careful not to bang or tap the edge with the spoon. Question:	Is the slow cooker setting high or low? Most recipes say 4-6 hours for high and 8-10 hours for low. Does it turn off automatically
Answer:	U.S 120 volt plug only. If you what to use in UK used the plug adapter it will burn out the unit. You do need the step down transformer from 240v to 120v with 5 amp. Search Amazon I find this "BESTEK Universal Travel Adapter 220V to 110V Voltage Converter with 6A 4-Port USB Charging and UK/AU/US/EU Worldwide Plug ". I am not working for Bestek just try to help.

Answer:	Had since 2016, and 1 small scratch on bottom, but the rim is more scratched. Not sure how that happened as we normally also are careful in what we use to wash and use rice scrapper.

Answer:	No, but you can connect it to a timer. Briefly turn on the power, press one of the rice cooking buttons, and turn the power off again. When your timer turns on the power again, the rice will cook as expected.

Answer:	I have never used rug tape. This pad is sticky but does not leave a residue. I have had one for years that I remove in the summer and the carpet and area rug are..no sticky fine, no sticky residue or damage. I have found the rug still moves, but holds better than other rug pads or no rug pad.
Question:	Does it have a timer function to specify the time you want the rice to be ready
Answer:	Please don’t do this if you have a large rug and live alone. It WILL bunch up and it WILL be impossible to place. It’s infinitely easier to place it on the carpet first, press down so it adheres to the carpet, then place the rug.

Answer:	With stainless steel it usually means leftover grease from the factory. You would need to scrub it with baking soda and oil, then clean it all off with dish soap. If not stainless steel, I agree that is concerning.

Answer:	The slow cooker function is high and runs around 165+ F. The "keep warm" function is low and is 145ish F degrees.

Answer:	Hi Judy - Yes this does have a beeper. When the rice is done it beeps on and off for about 5-6 seconds and automatically switches to keep warm. Once you're done you can press the power button and it toggles off so no need to unplug.
Question:	Does the lid lock while the food is cooking, or can you add new ingredients/spices halfway through
Answer:	You do not want the lid to be removable because that would require an extra (third) hand for operating the devise; and a clean and safe place to set down a removed lid. It is sufficient for the pot alone (and steamer tray) to be removable.
Question:	Can you cook noodles in it
Answer:	I have the 8-cup one and the brown rice setting cooks quinoa perfectly! You have to soak it first (minimum 6 hours) but it comes out fully cooked, light and fluffy! I just purchased the larger 20-cup cooker (the 8-cup doesn't hold enough veggies for me) and am sure the brown rice setting on the larger cooker will make quinoa perfectly as well.
