Answer:	There are no indications on the comb as to material type. The comb arrived in a clear plasting sleeve, with only an Amazon id sticker on it, so I'm unsure if there is more elaborate packaging info from Andis. As my review stated, it has the same weight, feel, and flexibility as the Marvy 904. -So, maybe try to research that comb. If you're asking because of durability concerns, I have regularly used 904s that are over 25 yrs old, and they're in great condition.
