Answer:	I just called Atrix's '800' number (800-222-6154) www.atrix.com and was told that the Turbo RED Canister Vacuum has 12 amps. I was looking at a canister vacuum by bissel and eureka but the amps on those items are less. I have tile floors and wood and carpet only on my stairs, plus I have pets, so I'm very glad to hear that this canister vacuum has powerful suction and I'm also pleased that this machine requires a bag ( AHC-2 – HEPA Bag - this machine comes with 2 Bags ). For health reasons I'm grateful that I don't have to look at or touch those awful dust cups found in bag-less machines.

Answer:	This filter is not designed to lower Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). This filter will filter bad contaminants but leave the good minerals in the water. Good minerals will add to your TDS as they are dissolved solids. To lower TDS you will need to remove all minerals, including good minerals from your water. This filter uses a carbon filter for filtration and as carbon is a mineral, it will add to your TDS reading. Please note that TDS is not a correct way to test the filtration performance of any carbon system as it will always spike your TDS reading. TDS is used to measure the performance of RO Membranes or DI media. We recommend using water test drops or test strips to measure the performance of this or any carbon system.
