| Answer: | It is not gold plated. I liked the size of the ball of the studs. However, the backs to keep the studs from falling out are too small. They are difficult to hold with your fingers and my hands and fingers are not large. The backs are so small that I've already lost one because it fell out of my hands. I would not purchase these again due to the small size of the backs. |
