Answer:	I use these screws in all sizes available, These seem to hold up quite well on my board fence, you just have to be careful as the heads will pull deep into the wood. 1 1/2 is a little short for deck screws tho. if using 2X's I would use longer ones, Also I do not ever remember snapping the heads off of any size from WoodPro.
