Answer:	You can get free software. I grbl is free to convert STL to GCODE. Anything that can generate a STL file will work.

Answer:	There are some basic clamps that use bolts placed in the t-track of the bed.

Question:	Is this too loud for someone living in an apartment? Is it quieter like a Dremel, or more like a more powerful power tool
Answer:	I have this in an apartment and I run it as part of a business. The noise level depends on what you are doing with it. When doing light engraving it's not too bad. However, when cutting/milling with a spiral up-cutting bit or doing a deeper v groove/engraving, it is quite loud and it is even louder now that I have the 20000 RPM spindle (highly recommended for proper feeds/speeds by the way). As Brian mentioned, the dust is an issue as well. To address both of these issues, I built an enclosure similar to the one by James Dean Designs; however mine is simpler and lined with pink insulation foam that I cut into sound foam with a larger V bit. This contains the dust and noise for the most part. I also had to put extra TPU feet under the machine inside the enclosure to dampen the vibrations. Even with these precautions I only run my PROVer during business hours for noise reasons. The only problem with the enclosure is that is makes it a bit difficult to reach the sockets in the back if you are going to be switching between and spindle and laser engraver. IF YOU BUILD AN ENCLOSURE BE SURE TO MOUNT THE EMERGENCY STOP BUTTON ON THE OUTSIDE.

Answer:	That's exactly what I used this set for my 80% arms lower receiver. Completed it last week with a Deltron upper and tested it at the range yesterday. Take your time and go slow and it will produce a quality part. Predrill holes with a drill bit. I did the whole process using these to finish with.
Question:	will this set be able to drill my AR15 lower receiver
Answer:	Two or three flute center cutting end mill most 4 flute are not center cutting and will go a horrible job. Two flute end mills in very sharp condition best done on a larger heavy duty drill press 12 inches or more swing. The Quill arbor and bearings need to be tight with minimal slop. Drill press needs to be capable of low speed to avoid chatter. If things are optimal it "may work" any vertical mill even a mini mill will do a better job for this milling operation.
Question:	In drill press, how will they do for plunge cutting? I was under impression I need center cut end mill for boring metal, am I wrong
Answer:	I have been using the 1/4 and 3/8 bits for mortising in cherry wood, they are excellent at that - clean cut, not much vibration, stay sharp longer than other he's spiral bits.
Question:	Are these suited for wood as well
Answer:	End mills don't really have a cutting depth. The general rule is to never plunge more than 1/2 the diameter of the mill. That said this is a nice starter set of end mills. Great for brass and aluminum. Go slow with steel. Use plenty of lube.

Answer:	Yes, absolutely. But the quality may be hit or miss based on the end mill and material.
Question:	If vented properly, can this cut 1/2" or 3/4" polyurethane foam sheets? If so, will it leave a clean edge

Question:	Can this be used to cut hard woods witthout burning the wood
Answer:	As others have have stated it really depends on a lot of things, this is however more of a face mill it's not intended to take deep fast cuts, if you need to go deep use a conventional roughing end mill and use this for your final passes to get a nice clean finish. I've used mine on titanium and 7075 aluminum and it has produced a very nice smooth finish on the material.
Question:	How many thousandths cut (per pass) can one take when using this tool on various metals
Answer:	Look up ‘speeds and feeds’. Google that phrase, you’ll find what you need. Varies greatly with what you’re cutting, depth of cut, lubrication, rigidity of machine and workholding.
Question:	What rpms have people been running this at? i have found suggestions on pm ranging from 250, to 2200... makes no sense
Answer:	This is Standard R8 Shank ( Bridgeport Shank); which means the smaller end is 0.949" and larger end if is 1.25"; Shank length is 4"; drawbar thread is 7/16-20. Thanks.

Answer:	My first answer is 7/16 in. I have a set of Irwin tap chucks that grab the square shank .. another brand of tap has a 3/8 inch .. perhaps a small crescent wrench

You'll be better off getting one sold in your own country where you'll more than likely get your money's worth and doesn't have a 300% (I assume tariff) markup.

Answer:	Can't see why not, other than playing it safe with small cuts, you should just be mindful of your tooling and speeds/feeds. Make sure your using the appropriate tooling, HSS is best with soft materials such as Alum, brass, low carbon steel, but with harder materials high carbon steel and titanium you will need carbide or cemented carbide tooling. Tools typically tell you if it's ok for that material type and their nominal speed (max rpm)
