Question:	What is the cost of the software and what do I need
Answer:	You can get free software. I grbl is free to convert STL to GCODE. Anything that can generate a STL file will work.
Question:	Does the 3018-prover come with clamps? i don't see any pictured or mentioned
Answer:	There are some basic clamps that use bolts placed in the t-track of the bed.
Question:	Second question. Can this be used as a pass through to do longer pieces than the surface? Making wood onlays. Need narrow, but longer than work area

Question:	Is this too loud for someone living in an apartment? Is it quieter like a Dremel, or more like a more powerful power tool
Answer:	I have this in an apartment and I run it as part of a business. The noise level depends on what you are doing with it. When doing light engraving it's not too bad. However, when cutting/milling with a spiral up-cutting bit or doing a deeper v groove/engraving, it is quite loud and it is even louder now that I have the 20000 RPM spindle (highly recommended for proper feeds/speeds by the way). As Brian mentioned, the dust is an issue as well. To address both of these issues, I built an enclosure similar to the one by James Dean Designs; however mine is simpler and lined with pink insulation foam that I cut into sound foam with a larger V bit. This contains the dust and noise for the most part. I also had to put extra TPU feet under the machine inside the enclosure to dampen the vibrations. Even with these precautions I only run my PROVer during business hours for noise reasons. The only problem with the enclosure is that is makes it a bit difficult to reach the sockets in the back if you are going to be switching between and spindle and laser engraver. IF YOU BUILD AN ENCLOSURE BE SURE TO MOUNT THE EMERGENCY STOP BUTTON ON THE OUTSIDE.

Answer:	Kit comes with all parts (extrusions, acrylic, T-nuts, etc). to make the CNC enclosure as pictured. Don't need to get any other parts.

Answer:	The front wall is 4mm, and others are 3mm. The top open is for connecting power cord/ USB cable and replace engraving materials conveniently.

Question:	What feed rates should be selected for each plywood cutter
Answer:	The set I got have 1/8" shanks and are 1 1/2" long. I don't know about the "angle"--the shapes are as shown in the advertisement. I will say they cut much quicker and easier than any other burrs I've gotten (I use them for carving gourds). With these "crosscut" burrs, I can carve without needing to first remove the outer skin of gourds--that outer skin is quite tough.

Question:	Is it programmable
Answer:	I really don't remember if the clamps came with it or not. It did come with the complete set of collets and wrenches. I have 2 sets of clamps so maybe one set came with it, I know I had to buy the little milling vise, and a drill chuck. Everything for this machine is pretty expensive but first quality. I have a bigger milling machine now, and I will be selling my MF70, but only because it was too small for the bigger steam engines I am building.

Question:	Has anyone used this to do all aspects of a PCB? cutting, drilling, etching and solder mask? is it capable of doing the job
Answer:	I just got this and just made my first PCB. I'm not sure how it would do the solder mask, but it can be set up to do all the milling and drilling and then cut out the PCB. The software gives you control to .01mm on the X, Y, and Z axis so you can make boards that mount 0805 (2012) packages. Through hole parts are easy...

Question:	Is this 2020 extrusion? I need to engrave some metal cases that won't fit under the gantry. Has anyone tried raising the gantry
Answer:	It is standard 2020 and I see no reason that you couldn't raise the gantry and have it function nearly the same. The only thing I'd worry about is x-axis deflection due to the additional leverage the tool will have on the uprights. If you're not raising it very far, that won't be a concern. Alternately, you could add some reinforcement with a couple of short pieces of 2020 attached to the bottom frame and up to the gantry lead-screw brackets. Just ideas for consideration. Modify at your own peril...

Question:	does it come with the xyz limit sensors
Answer:	Mine did not but I added them for about $20 in parts and a tweak to the firmware.
Question:	how wide of a surface can it engrave acrylic
Answer:	I use mine for specific CNC milling of parts so I couldn't say. With that said, I have cut to the edge of the bed minus the instep loss from the limiting switches I installed.
Question:	Spindle connection, does it matter how the red and black wire are connected? Spindle is not labeled
Answer:	red wire connect to "+" , black wire connect to "-"
Question:	Your cnc router comes only with the Microsoft drivers, do you have a site to get the linux drivers

Question:	What does "non-aluminum plate splicing," mean
Answer:	No is the same. Because have X,Y,Z but the program use other code for change the direction to interact with the program used to run a like engraving or laser.
Question:	Why does the link you provide for the manual and software not work
Answer:	Sounds like a flexing problem. Can also be a large bit size (use 1/8" single flute bit), motor speed not high enough and too fast/deep of a cut. Remember this is a very light duty machine.
Question:	Can i add a laser to the 3018 pro max all aluminum version
Answer:	I never got to use the machine. The motor runs constantly. Has to be in the program. Will only install one way. DONT waste your money

Answer:	Hi, yes, the x moves left and right, like you're drawing a line in the sand and daring your "X" to cross it.
